Very hospitable host, she told us about the sights to see. Was very helpful. Clean and comfortable. They had everything that one would need for a comfortable stay. AC in the room was a plus, seeing it was a hot day.

"Cowichan" (as in Cowichan Valley/ Duncan) actually means "Warmland". So, we feel that offering quests individual choices about Air Conditioning is the way to go. thanks for mentioning it!

We stayed for four nights and found that this was the best place of our trip. Hospitable host, comfortable home, good breakfast and convivial stay. Will book this b&b again next time we are in the country

An enjoyable, comfortable, clean, relaxed, and low-key place to stay on a quiet dead-end street within walking distance of downtown Duncan. We will go there again the next time we are in Duncan. Also a nice option for anyone visiting Glenora Farm. New WiFi system works well. Cassandra was friendly and helpful, giving useful tips about things to see and...

Hair dryer not functional. Bathroom not spotless. No choice for hot breakfast. Parking in tiny cul-de-sac. Cost too high for what is offered as Luxury Stay in an Historic House at $150.00 per night for 1 senior person. The bed was comfortable. TV 18" have to use up and down button on remote and not number pad to seek channel....

We regret that your experience did not match that of all our other guests. You shared with me that you were coming to Duncan for an emotionally difficult reason. I know myself that when I am upset it can seem like everything is going wrong around me. For example, the hairdryer in your room has 2 settings (both of which...

This home is very pleasant with its old woodwork and sense of history. A great respite from the intensity of life. The gracious hostess, Cassandra, was happy to answer all my questions about the house and property. Her frittata was great, too.

We had a lovely time exploring the Cowichan Valley based at Cassie's B&B. We were fortunate to be able to book the entire place for our small party; it was such a bonus having the second floor sitting room to relax in! The breakfast was lovely. Also, Essex the poodle was such a sweetheart!

A wonderful B&B. As soon as our booking went through, the hostess got in contact with us by e-mail and made us feel welcome, so we started to look forward to our stay long before we arrived. Cassandra is a very accommodating and understanding hostess - we had booked for three persons, but our daughter ended up spending time at...

I recently stayed one night and chose this B and B because of the location to the Queen Margaret School, on advice from locals. The bed was comfortable, the house warm. I loved the Christmas decorations and enjoyed chatting to Cassandra and the breakfast. Duncan has a limited range of accomodation and I would recommend the Holmesdale Bed and Breakfast.

Went to Island Folk Festival held in Providence Farm, July 24-27 2015. A 10 minute drive from Holmesdale House B&B. Even though we arrived earlier than the appointed arrival hour, Casandra accommodated our early arrival request. This allowed us to have a long rest before the start of the Festival. Our room was on the first floor and the room...
