Excellent little motel for less $. The owners and manager couple are perfect hosts. Room had an awesome bed (like staying in high end hotel). VERY clean and updated. Also, had an awesome attached trendy cafe!

This is a great place to stay when in Duncan. The owners and staff take a great deal of pride in this motel. Have stayed here twice I the the last two months and have not been disappointed. Next time I am back in Duncan and need a place to stay it will be back at the Thunderbird.

My husband and I were looking for clean and quite and we found it at the Thunderbird. At first glance, you may not believe it but we were very pleased with the room, the check in process, the food at the restaurant and the close proximity to our event.

The hotel personnel ie. manager (Cholo), his wife, the owner (Martin) and his wife, ALL were very attentive and conscientious to our requests and the...

My wife and I were looking for a quiet, conveniently located hotel in Duncan and we found it. The Thunderbird Motor Inn is just off the highway, near restaurants, and not far from the city centre. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the fridge and microwave were appreciated, and the WiFi (both the hotel WiFi and Shaw WiFi)...

Spotlessly clean and fabulous restaurant attached. The owners are wonderful people who truly care about you having a great time at their family run Inn. I think that occupancy of 100% on a October day speaks volumes for the hotel. Highly recommended.

Stopped by the hotel on a cold wet Saturday and was greeted by 2 friendly ladies at reception. The rooms are basic but clean. Restaurant on site but lots around. Well located just off highway but really quiet, although it was a long weekend. My room had a pull out couch. Overall clean good value and friendly service. Recommend

Working in hospitality myself, i tend to be quite critical of places i visit. Thunderbird Motor Inn is the epitome of hospitality. From front reception who is incredibly helpful and friendly to the housekeeping staff who are equally as friendly and attentive to their guests needs. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would recommend to anyone travelling nationally...

the motel was quiet close to a lot of downtown and was very accessible from the highway. very close to the VIU campus which made things much better. very accommodating to everyone's needs. I very well liked that the owner over saw everything and made sure you were comfortable everyday and night
