I booked a room close to my race sight (Crazy 8's Outrigger) which ended up being across the road about a block. I had a great water view from the huge living room window. Everything was clean and tidy. I had a separate bedroom and a kitchen fully stocked (I went to the office for a wine bottle opener and...

We currently stayed at the Buccaneer Inn to discover Nanaimo and its surroundings. This hotel is located right next to the ferry port, which makes it very comfortable after a long day driving plus the ferry journey. Our room provided a full kitchen with a great range of equipment. Thereby I absolutely have to mention the very modern electric stove....

Dear Giulia M, So happy to read that you enjoyed the location of our motel, the decor, mattress comfort, kitchen facilities, separate Truck Parking, WIFI speed, cleanliness AND the amount of light in the room (this is one of our pet peeves when we are travelling). We are glad to have been part of your experience in Canada. And you'll...

This family run Inn was a pleasant surprise in many ways. The location is wonderful with water front views, close to ferries and downtown. The attention to detail was evident in the rooms upkeep, craftsmanship and the comforting decor. The room was always kept exceptionally clean and the beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept in. You are...

We stayed one night, great little motel, friendly staff, very clean, well maintained building and nicely equipped rooms. The motel is easy to find and is located close to the Departure Bay Ferry Terminal. We stayed in a queen suite, beds were comfy and the kitchenette was a definite plus for us. Good value for the price. We would definitely...

I loved this place and will definitely come back. Staff was friendly, very helpful and so accommodating. I stayed in a large suite that had a kitchenette and sitting room separate from the bedroom. It had beautiful view of the water. The bed was great and very comfortable. Nanaimo is a beautiful place and the Buccaneer Inn's quaint ambience is...

My husband is receiving chemo and radiation therfore, our 10 trip to Tofino needed to involve a layover. I booked this stay morning of visit. Easy to book, VERY clean rooms, comfy bed, great location and pleasant staff. Also, the area was quiet and peaceful. Price appropriate.

The Buccaneer Inn is a quaint traditional motel near the ferry terminal at Nanaimo. Offering views of the water and parking, it's a great choice in the area if you looking for something independent. The team are knowledgeable of the area, especially if looking for dining recommendations. We arrived during a storm, the outside walkways and stairs didn't put us...

This was a great place to stay. I came for a business trip and needed the convenience of having a small apartment. I found this at the Buccaneer Inn plus a very comfortable bed. The owners, Dave and Marlene, are very friendly and welcoming as are the staff.

This Inn offers a variety of accommodations. We needed a small suite with kitchen for a few day not far from home as we were renovating. PERFECT place. Not too expensive, clean, with great people to help you. Bonus... it's just minutes from Departure Bay, view of marina and New Castle Island. Close to downtown Nanaimo or the boardwalk.
