On the 7th of April 2017 we rented a spacious presidential suite on the ground floor facing Steward Ave. Luckily, it was still low season, so we did not pay an enormous amount of money. Positive: Customer friendly receptionist, eager to be of service. The double door in the suite kept the traffic noise out. The hider bed in the...

Stayed here in October and again in November. I saw hair in the shower and outside of the shower but thought okay I guess this can happen. On my second trip to the hotel, I realized that the cleaning staff don't actually clean. Not sure the hotel even has a vacuum for the area carpets. I stayed three nights, on...

We were thankful that a room came availalble at short notice on the August long weekend. Usually we don't stay in a "presidential suite" but it was the last room available in Nanaimo hotels! Wrap around balcony and modern kitchenette; futon for the kids and separate bedroom for the parents. Balcony overlooks Marina. Front desk only open till 11 pm.

We ended up with the last room available which was the Presidential Suite. Set up very nice with a full kitchen, dining and sitting area and a separate bedroom. Marble floors and wall mounted TV in living area and bedroom. Very clean and comfy. Two French doors open up to a wrap around patio, and view of the marina.

We stayed in the marina side resort on a stopover from Vancouver. It's situated in the main road, just minutes north of Nanaimo. Hotel staff very friendly but the place is unstaffed between around 10pm and 9 am. Didn't feel they were at all shady as other reviews say, the guy was very helpful. We had an executive suite with...

I have never written a review before but for this place I feel prospective guests should be aware. We spent December 24th to December 29th at the so call luxurious resort. Not at all like luxurious resorts and or hotels we've stayed at in the past. - Wi-Fi did not work. - Floors were not swept or washed for the...

We checked in with the intention to stay for 5 nights. After the first night we checked out. The walls are paper thin and we spent Christmas Eve with the neighbors listening to their party all night long!!! Room was so small and not very clean. The restaurant they tout isn't open and the underground parking is only for the...
