The challenge is that this hotel is the best in the area so it gets alot of reviews that are likely better than they should be. Rooms are tired, and in need of an upgrade. Beds are not up to par with other hotels in similar price point. Staff seem to be only mildly interested in helping you. Dining options...

I agree with many who have gone before me that this property is in dire need of a reno however, with the Casino on-site I can see where many would give a hoot about the hotel condition(s). This is not a good place to stay if you are on business. I would seek out another locale. The meals at this...

The service received at the hotel was fantastic! Everything right down to your nightly turndown service complete with cookie and apple. Being upgraded to a Lakeview king suite, the room was not only huge, but nicely appointed. The bathroom could use an update, but overall it was a great room! The views of the lake are spectacular and the food...

Great view over the lake. Staff friendly and helpful. Two onsite restaurants. Rooms spacious, free wifi. However could do with renovation, new carpets etc. Fitness centre being redone whilst we were there so maybe improvements on the way.

If you're in Penticton, you wont get a better view of the Okanagan lake. We stayed here for 2 nights, good value accommodation and food. It's worth pointing out that it's a big place with good facilities. It's geared up for people coming for a good time, bars, casinos disco etc. We did get very unlucky with a very rowdy...

The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The rooms are comfortable with all the amenities. They offer vouchers for breakfast and, if you choose not to have your room cleaned, you receive a $10 discount on a meal at the hotel restaurants. And let's face it, do you clean your house everyday? They are a bike friendly hotel with secure...

The resort is a little dated, but overall the service was great, the restaurants are excellent. The location looking over Okanagan Lake is absolutely magnificent. Our room was in the perfect location on the 5th floor - we got the morning sun!

This hotel was a real disappointment . It was badly in need of a face lift . Upon arrival one was greeted with a musty odor , the front desk staff was very poorly trained . The setting was exceptional but the hotel was void of any tasteful touches . The rooms themselves were very dated . The bathroom for...

But that's pretty much it. The hotel is very dated. The best part is the water side patio. We enjoyed a good meal and night of fun. They do a good job keeping the hotel separate from the casino. If I were to return to Penticton, I'll most likely stay in Sunderland.

We've stayed here before and really enjoy the location but the hotel is older and definitely showing its age. Because it's the only lakeside hotel here they are able to demand a premium. Nice spot good hotel but needs a Reno. I would stay here again
