My wife and I stayed at the Riddle Road Retreat this past summer as part of an extended trip through the Okanagan valley. The location was absolutely perfect for us with the Kettle Valley biking/hiking trail just a short walk away, as well as local wineries and a pet friendly beach just a short drive/bike ride down the hill. We...

Four of us stayed for two nights at Riddle Road retreat in July and I sincerely wish we could have stayed a week! Joyce and Doug were amazing hosts, really friendly and helpful. Doug provided a wealth of information about the area over a yummy breakfast of fruit, bagels, coffee and juice out on the desk with a spectacular view.Nothing...

A girlfriends weekend away was perfect staying with Joyce and Doug! We were treated like family and all the accommodations were ideal. The view from the property is spectacular, the breakfast was delicious (fresh fruit!) and the best advice on where to go and what to see! I loved the personal touch that one would not get from a hotel....

Nice location with a amazing view over Penticton. Good hosts and the breakfast is fantastic. They will tell you a lot about Penticton and there is a trail starting with the B & B. The rooms and bathroom are very clean. Great location to stay.

We stayed for 2 nights; rooms are very clean and comfortable; breakfasts on the terrace (with hummingbirds) were amazing - lots of fresh fruit and lovely breads; might need to wait for a bit to get into one of the shared bathrooms in the morning but we didn't find this disturbing; sound insulation is not great (we wouldn't have expected...

We have made the experience that at least some of the B&Bs in the Naramata area are not comfortable to have persons with small children stay at their B&Bs for whatever reason and probably bad experience. This restriction of course you will only find out when you phone them. Regarding this B&B I would like to inform other families that...

I am sorry that this person felt she needed to write this review. She did not stay in August as her review indicates. I do remember being asked to accommodate some small children at a very busy time when we were otherwise full of mature guests. I explained this to her, plus gave her the explanation that we have a...

And here's why:The best hosts ever;beautiful scenery;breakfast on the deck; location is right by the KVR and there are bikes to use. I felt at home instantly. And if you want to know anything about the history and geology of the valley, Doug has the answers!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Riddle Road Retreat! We had just finished biking the KVR over a four day tour...that we had planned ourselves! When I booked to stay at the Riddle Road Retreat, my hubby and I were looking at staying just 1 night, but it was a 2 night min, Joyce said that after we completed the...

This was our first trip to the okanagan and Doug and Joyce gave us great advice on places to go and wineries to visit. The b&b is very comfortable and in a perfect location. Thank you so much for your review. it is greatly appreciated. The reason we are still in business is totally because of the wonderful people who come to stay with us. We enjoyed your company so much & look forward to hosting you & your families or friends again.

Joyce and Doug are both really nice people to be around, and their b&b is a gem! Great view from the patio over the lake and the winery's. If you're a 'wine nut' this is the place to start off from. Also really close is a very nice and quit beach and directly on the old kettle railroad track where...
