I've stayed at the Pioneer Guesthouse several times and am never disappointed. The facility is clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff are always helpful and the location is close to shopping and restaurants.

The cleanest and best kept facility I have stayed in of this kind. We spent very little time at the guesthouse and essentially used it only to sleep and shower. Originally I brought flip flops to use in the shower, due to previous experiences in hostel-type places, but realized they weren't necessary here. The bathrooms and shower area were really...

This was my third time staying at Pioneer and as always the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the atmosphere welcoming. I always recommend for people to stay here when passing through or staying in Prince Rupert.

Pioneer Inn is a great place to stay! Clean, cozy and economical place to stay where you can bring your own food and cook for yourself. You are within walking distance to the many things Pronce Rupert has to offer. This is my second stay here - I would come here again!

Great hostel: clean bathroom, confy bed and nice kitchen. Nothing to change, this is a very good price for what you get in return. Close to downtown too and the staff was helpfull when we had some questions

My dog and I stayed at the guesthouse and found it very comfortable. The rooms are small but cozy and the staff are very friendly. It's in Cow Bay, a great area of Prince Rupert, and we had lovely walks around the waterfront.

Good things were: bed comfortable, lovely hot shower, convenient location, price, shared kitchen and lounge area. Things for consideration being: this is touted as a guest house though this is actually a backpackers hostel. Not a problem but won't be clear to some folks. Also bedside lights would be useful.

“I stayed in both the women's dorm and in a private room. Both were spacious, clean, comfortable, and I don't hesitate to recommend either choice. However, you better make your reservation early as space is limited. Be sure to walk through the lovely 'sunken garden' located next door.”
