This place only gets better and better. The service is untouchable. The amenities are untouchable. From the very second you check in you are treated as a special client. Complimentary Port in your room. Turn down service!!! Amazing views!! it is impossible to consider staying anywhere else in Tofino!!

Public areas and the Pointe Restaurant have interesting wood beam architecture that is hand hewn. Rooms are more generic. Restaurant offers excellent and knowledgeable staff. Menu is delicious and well presented, but not 'of this place'. The style of architecture and location cries out for a roaring log fire but instead there's a fakey looking gas fire. Location on the...

A perfect way to spend an important birthday. It was fun to watch the crashing surf from the large picture window in our room. The scenery was beautifulI, the room was wonderful, the service was excellent (friendly and accommodating to our tastes and those of our guests) - what more could you ask for in a holiday. Kudos to all.

I have nothing but the highest praise for every aspect of our week long stay. The room was immaculate with every amenity we could have wanted - a large private room with balcony overlooking a rocky cove, a view of the water from the huge tub/shower, a welcoming decanter of port, remote gas fireplace, hidden flat screen tv, a Bose...

Wonderful isolation for walking the incredible Chesterman beach and watching the wild crashing waves from the room. Service and food in The Pointe restaurant was exceptional. The port in the room on arrival was a welcome touch on a chilly day. Highly recommend this hotel. I keep coming back.

I booked the storm-watcher's package for my husband at Wickaninnish for his birthday. We were greeted in our room with wine and cheese, a glowing fire, rain gear and boots, and complimentary water-resistant hats. The beach was wild and wintry one day then calm and sunny the next, and we enjoyed watching the surfers and wildlife (eagles, oystercatchers, etc.). The...

The Point restaurant is a special place tucked in the pines with a marvelous view of the Pacific and Chesterman Beach. Be prepared for a geat meal but remember that quality has a price. Give it a try for a romantic dinner or for a special occasion while in the area. You wont regret it. We even saw sea otters...

Our room was large and the beds were the most comfortable I have ever experienced at a hotel. The beach is wonderful, the spa was great and the hotel and local restaurants are very good. Go to the wickaninnish if you want a relaxing weekend.

Wickaninnish Inn, a Relais & Chateaux property since 1997, overlooks the Pacific Ocean from a rocky point on Vancouver Island’s rugged west coast, near the eclectic town of Tofino and Pacific Rim National Park. Two contemporary cedar buildings, set against a backdrop of ancient rainforest, boast an extensive local art collection (complemented by the neighbouring wood carving shed), and all rooms and suites offer ocean or beach views, gas fireplace, soaker tub and individual balcony. Uncompromising service, including a Clefs d’Or Concierge team, is a standard. The sole resort on Chesterman Beach, Tofino’s longest at 2.5km/1.5mi, the Inn is home to refined West Coast cuisine at The Pointe Restaurant and naturally-inspired treatments at its intimate Ancient Cedars Spa.
