The boat is charming, the innkeeper even more so, the food superb and the Hot Springs. . .oh my. . .the Hot Springs. They may just be the lost, the long-lost eighth wonder of the world, and all within one of the more beautiful realms I know--Clayoquot Sound. Go for the wonder, but when the moon is full and the...

The InnChanter was recommended to us by a B&B host in Vancouver and we are so glad he did. After an hour on the whale watching boat we were wondering what we had let ourselves in for but when the InnChanter came into sight and five minutes of Shaun's company made us sure we had done the right thing! The...

In July my wife and I spent two nights on the Innchanter. We were looking for interesting places to stay on our visit to Vancouver Island and came across it on Tripadvisor. Boy are we glad we did! Shaun the innkeeper is the best host you can imagine. He is extremely accommodating, friendly and funny. He is very well travelled...

Shawn and the crew of the Innchanter made our stay a memorable one. I can't think of a nicer way to see the Cove and visit this unique part of BC. Meals were great. Rooms were comfortable. Can't want to visit again!

Highly, highly recommended!!! ***** This was an ideal weekend away for me and a dear friend. Wilderness, beauty, amazing food, being rocked by the ocean at night, great company, fabulous host. Salmon and crab bought right off passing fishing boats and hey presto - with gorgeous seasonings - onto our plate, never fresher! We were lucky to come at summer...

Visiting the Innchanter at Hots Springs Cove is like having a moment in time thrown into slow motion. The drive across the Island, shopping for groceries in Tofino while waiting for the floatplane, flying over the whales, fishboats and scatter of islands are the lead up to a tranquil visit at the best BC has to offer. Once you set...

The West Coast of Vancouver Island is just spectacular - wild coast lines, amazing temperate rain forests with giant trees, bizarre cliffs, secluded rivers, whales, black bears, sea otters, eagles... You feel like going deeper into it, experiencing nature - and the InnChanter is one of the few places that makes this possible without camping. Located in a pretty cove...

We have stayed on the InnChanter more times than I can remember! The welcome we get from Shaun is worth going for alone! The boat is beautiful, and has had so much loving care spent on it over the years. Admittedly the washing facilities are a bit basic, but there's always the Hotsprings............ The food has to be enjoyed to...
