The Rosewood Georgia is elegant and refined while still being welcoming. We found the staff to be extremely helpful, cheerful and professional, especially the concierge staff. Our rooms were classy, yet inviting and the beds were really comfortable. The location was very good as we found we could walk to restaurants and shops as well as down to Canada Place....

My Fiancé and I stayed here for 4 nights before we travelled on to whistler and we were in for a real treat! Before our arrival the communication with the hotel was brilliant with them sending us Vancouver travel guides and offering to make any reservations. We stayed in a superior king room which was small but perfectly formed with...

The hotel class and elegance was everything I imagined it to be. Five-star amenities, crystal chandeliers fills the hotel, the Spanish Ball Room!!!! The glass-bottomed salt water pool with its colour-changing lights, their Sense Spa (another post), the restaurant Hawksworth one of my fave in Vancouver (another post x2), hidden patio (another post x3), cocktail lounge (another post x4). So...

One of the Top 3 Hotels in the City in my eyes . Very romantic for both of us . Built in 1927 and keeping with the theme of the 20,s. Great Staff , Great Room and the best place to just unwind and explore the City .

The rooms here are awesome, especially the bathroom. The soaking tub was great, and was so nice to have after walking around while touring the city all day. The heated tile floors were fantastic too! The beds were also super comfortable. The staff were all very nice and friendly. The only downside was figuring out where to park when we...

We spent 3 nights at the Rosewood Georgia - great location with a very personal touch. Concierge was excellent - provided good advice and recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. All staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Such a different experience from most upmarket hotels. Well worth a stay!

The Rosewood Hotel on Georgia is a wonderful hotel in a great location in Vancouver, BC. The rooms are well laid out and attention has been paid to the needs of the business traveler -- comfort is at the highest level. It has a small boutique feel in a historic building. The restaurant is pricey, but you can find other...

I did not stay in the hotel but only went to it to have a drink there. We were staying near by in the Hotel Vancouver - very nice but a bit boring and lacking a cool bar. We went to the Hotel Georgia based upon reviews on line. Highly recommend Lobby Bar. Service Great. Drinks varied. Environment very New...

Just had three enjoyable nights at the hotel. Perfectly positioned to take in all that Vancouver has to offer. Rooms were spacious and the hotel is kept in an immaculate condition with all staff very helpful.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
