Our room was called a "solarium" this was misleading. All the solarium was is a patio that was encased in a window. There was no sun roof. However the kitchenette was awesome, the service staff is incredibly gracious, and the rooftop pool and hot tub were lovely. Very clean accommodation.

The service at L'Hermitage is impeccable. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best stay possible. Elana, in particular, was very helpful and really made us feel welcome! The staff was very familiar with the area and had great recommendations for dinner and entertainment.

Well worth it!! We have stayed in many Boutique Hotels, this on ranks in the top 10% Very professional. Centrally located in downtown Vancouver, my wife and I could walk everywhere. An added bonus to our room - we had an outdoor patio.

Terrific location, beautiful property, Fantastic service, Very nice accommodations. great food. my only suggestion for improvement was the lack of kids TV programming. the TV said movies were available to rent, but unfortunately, they were not. the staff appeared genuinely happy to help you with any request. what a delight.

This hotel was one of the best experiences I have ever gotten from a customer service perspective. They know how to treat their guests right and make sure you have everything you need for an incredible trip to Vancouver. The Staff set us up with amazing restaurants to go to and even called when them to let them know if...

We decided to spend Spring Break in the city. The objective was to see two concerts and to relax and enjoy some Vancouver time. The only "risk" was trying a new hotel. With L'Hermitage there was no risk. The property and the staff were excellent. The heated pool and hot tub in colder Spring weather was a pleasant surprise.

We had three rooms for our family, which worked out great! The staff was wonderful! They were always asking if they could do anything to make our stay more comfortable or make any reservations or suggestions of places to go and visit. Steve at the front desk was particularly accommodating to us. I recommend this hotel and we look forward...

We stopped over in Vancouver for a couple of days after a long trip back from Thailand. We loved to stay here. The staffs were friendly. The location was perfect. We could walk every where near by. The good thing was that they had a infinity heated pool which I enjoyed. It helped me recover from jet lag fast :)

Would use the hotel again. Extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Room was spacious and well pointed. Service was very professional. Very pleasant boutique hotel always my preference against the large group hotels.

We were a couple in town, for a concert. The room was lovely. The staff were over the top professional. Morning breakfast was a nice welcome to a new day. We have already told many, and would definitely return.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
