Good location, but small rooms, narrow and steep stairs, old and in modest shape.
This B&B is not for seniors, because of the steep narrow stairs. The only person
you meet is the cleaning lady/cook. No owner showed up. Very unpersonal.

The room was very comfortable and clean as was the shared bathroom. Very good value for money for this part of Vancouver. As a single woman travelling I felt very safe here. The breakfast lady was lovely, and the food tasty. The laundry was advertised...More

This was a lovely little gem in Vancouver. Comfortable bed, cozy room, very clean and quiet. The breakfast was cooked to order, really good. Excellent location to walk to great restaurants. Would definitely stay again.
Residential neighbourhood to the ultra-wealthy, the gorgeous manor houses centred around The Crescent area are a fabled sight to behold. Shaughnessy is Vancouver's most verdant plotted neighbourhood, and its tree-lined streets, walking routes, bike trails, and charming public parks make for an ideal location to spend and afternoon communing with nature. Consequently, it is also the botanical centre of the
city, featuring conservatories and an expansive Botanical Garden, taming and sculpting the wild into seasonal viewing areas and enchanting landscapes. Quiet, elegant Shaughnessy excels at providing the Three Gs: Gardens, Golfing, and Galleries.
