My wife and I stayed here for a few nights as part of our honeymoon, and could not have been more impressed with this hotel. It is easy to get to from the airport (Canada Line train then a very short 3 minute walk, easy to do with luggage). Reception was staffed with plenty of friendly and efficient staff and...

This trip was number one on our bucket list. Each stage was very important to us. Diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, we are very glad Pan Pacific was the beginning of our trip and the end of our trip. Our highest praise for their part.

What an honour and a pleasure to have been able to host your stays downtown before and after your recent Alaskan Cruise. We do take pride in providing first class service and have forwarded your kind comments to our management to share with their teams. Our associates will be very pleased to know that their efforts have made a difference...

We arrived in Vancouver the day before our cruise and stayed at this hotel. It was not only within walking distance of the cruise ship, it was close to Gastown and many restaurants and attractions. Our flight brought us in before the check-in time but rooms were available and we were able to go ahead and check-in. This was especially...

Great views, especially if you are higher up. Great staff. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Let them know if it's a special occasion. They dropped off a free chocolate cake with a nice card, because I let them know ahead of time that it was our 30th wedding anniversary.

The hotel is brilliant for access to the ships and the porters will take your cases from your room to the ship (which appear later on in the day after you've boarded). We had a Deluxe room and they were big! The most comfortable beds, with lovely goosedown pillows and duvets. Big 50" TV although I had no idea even...

We stayed twice for one night each. We had great rooms both times with good views of the harbor and the town. It is right where the cruise ships dock so it was an easy walk to registration for us. They have a great pool, hot tub and lounge chairs on the 8th floor outside with tremendous views. There is...

I stayed at the Pan Pacific Hotel with a friend for an R&R weekend. The hotel was clean, tastefully decorated and the staff were outstanding. The location was fantastic walking distance to Gastown, and Robson street. The beds are too die for comfortable and I own a Temper pedic mattress at home. The restaurant was pricey but the food was...

Nice and clean room, but for the price I would have expected higher quality and more updated amenities, fixtures, etc. Was in town for a conference held at the convention center downstairs, so this was extra-convenient.

We were blown away when we opened the door of our room and saw the incredible view. We had a corner room and were greeted by a room-wide wall of glass in front and the side. The location is great and within easy walking distance of several restaurants as well as the train station and the "Hop On Hop Off"...

Recently stayed here on a business trip. Beautiful views on the waterfront and conveniently located at the convention center. Service was generally top notch, but the hotel is starting to feel a bit dated and is frequently overrun with cruise ship travelers since the dock is literally next to the hotel. The only drawback was the abysmal (paid) wifi coverage...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
