always love staying at this hotel but hate that their is nothing really close if you get hungry at night. Everything downtown is really expensive, and a vending machine or something in the hotel would be great. Also, the hot tub needs to be way hotter and the pool needs to probably be a bit colder

The service from beginning to end was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly, from the valet service to check-in staff and the housekeeping staff. The room was very clean and well-appointed and the beds were so comfortable. We had a great view of Stanley Park, the marina and mountains from our room on the 15th floor.

Very nice stay on the waterfront. Close to park and to downtown, can walk either direction. Found the restaurants good, reasonably priced compared to some you find the same area . Definitely like the option to skip the housekeeping for added benefits on sparwood program.

The Westin Bay Plaza proved to be ideal for the conference I attended. Not cheap but location, provision of service and amenities are well worth it. Staying at the conference venue met all our needs, dining in the evening was very reasonable, the salmon was particularly delicious. Being able to walk around the bay after a day inside, in glorious... More

The location of this hotel is hard to beat, right on beautiful Coal Harbour and also within walking distance to downtown shopping! The staff are professional and incredibly friendly. The room we had was spotless, perhaps a tad dated but super comfortable. The overall feel of this hotel is top rate!!

The Westin Bayshore. Clean? Yes. Friendly staff? Of course. Great location and comfortable beds? 100%. But for real…. who cares. I’ve stayed in a few hotels in Vancouver and they all exceeded my expectations and made it an enjoyable stay. But The Westin Bayshore…. why the Westin Bayshore? I’m from Hamilton, Ontario and at very very last minute I got... More

This is a beautiful location and the staff were helpful and friendly. I was stayed here for a conference. The hotel is a bit pricey so I wouldn't normally stay here. Plus it's a 20 min walk to the sky train station and a bit further for shopping. If you are looking for a beautiful, quiet "get-away" place, this is... More

Had a Marvelous and comfortable stay, the beds were comfy and the service was excellent. No complaints whatsoever! Room was quiet and the desk clerk super helpful when we had to book an extra night. The room was large and had all the amenities you could think of.

Great hotel. Starbucks in hotel was great. Restaurant was great, food and drinks. All services were great. Elevator always quick. Shuttles and outside service was great too! Umbrellas for weather was a fantastic idea. Nearby restaurant, shopping and attractions were fantastic.

The room was awesome. My only complaint was no fan in bathroom for showering. Beds were very comfy. If I were to stay in a hotel in Vancouver i would definitely stay there again. I travel to Vancouver a lot through the School District and personally and I would recommend your hotel to family and friends.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
