This is a Great Hotel with a Very Cool vibe and friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is close to all the City has to offer and we will definitely stay here again. The room has a cool retro feel and was very clean and comfortable.

I stayed in this lovley and cozy hotel for two nights before I travelled to Terrace BC. Reception is very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Espresso machine in the room and in the bathroom you have all you need! You get a bike for free, so nice to explore Vancouver town. I travel a lot but...

I checked into the Burrard after a long day travelling from Victoria to Vancouver, and spending 10 hours at BC Children's Hospital. I checked in around 4:00pm with a one hour window of time to shower and regroup before a 5:00pm meeting. When I ran the shower the faucet was not attached to the wall and the water pressure made...

Checked into hotel late evening called prior to enquire about my expedia booking which James.R from the front desk looked into and was there to greet me with a warm welcome when I checked in. This is a fun hotel/motel. It has a great California circ 1960s vibe. Great music and colours. Its located central to the downtown...in that you''re central to all downtown destinations.....from English Bay to Chinatown (albiet a bit of a walk to Chinatown). Loved all the free amenities - like free calls to anywhere in North America! (that's a first!) We...

Fun and quirky....friendly, laid back staff giving excellent service. Directly across the street from St. Paul's entrance..... was very convenient as I had several different appointments. Spotlessly clean, I would definitely stay there again!

Considering how much I paid for the room, I wasn't expecting what I got. It was the cleanest, most spacious queen bed hotel room I've been in for less than $80 AUD a night (granted, it was on sale, but I would definitely pay full price for the place). The inner courtyard was beautiful, the bathrooms looked new and the...

I stayed at The Burrard for 2 nights for work. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were comfortable and I loved the decor, bathrooms compact but with everything you need. Staff were all super (helping me with some items I managed to leave behind too), and I loved the extra touches such as the signs and information about the...

The staff are super friendly, so helpful, and just plain awesome. The location is incredibly convienient. My room was spotless, had everything I needed, and was nicely decorated. It felt like I was staying with friends, which is a rarity in Vancouver where lots of hotels can feel overly business-ey and cold. The Burrard is such a gem!

I lived in Vancouver for years but until I stayed at The Burrard on Burrard St, I'd never even noticed the building. Turns out that this newish boutique hotel is a little affordable gem in the heart of downtown Vancouver. The hotel features a 70's motif and is a retro-fitted building with a communal central courtyard and a small parking...

Staying in Davie Village

Neighbourhood Profile
Davie Village
Davie Village is the vital LGBTQ heart of Vancouver. It is the only like area in the world to have a permanent four-way rainbow crosswalk, to symbolise the city's solidarity with many of the businesses, ranging from bars to bookstores, that keep the area vibrant. By day, it is a people-watching stop, with fantastic boutique cafes, but at night is when it really shines, humming with neon lights and nightclub music inside many of the hip and trendy bars and dance halls. The area is diverse and welcoming, and its supportive community makes for a tight-knit group of independent and creative shops.
