+ Amazing location! + Safe + Small fridge + Coffee machine + Restaurants downstairs (good price and food) - However, we had one of the worst internet experienced until we asked to reset the router. - Very weird blankets and hard beds, uncomfortable pillows - View from the window on the dirty back alley which is not very pleasing in...

Only reason I can't give the hotel an Excellent is because there were no HD tv channels (it's 2016?) and the wifi was useless. Otherwise we rather enjoyed our stay. I recommend getting a Moda suite. Room was spotless. Ours was on the third floor. Never had to wait for the elevator like other reviews mentioned. Never heard a peep...

This place is beautiful, a little older but really nice. Exactly what we needed. They upgraded our room with no problem at all and are completely accommodating. Our view (back alley) Is the only downside but we don't plan on spending lots of time in the room. This is well worth it.

The Moda is conveniently situated and close to the trains, buses and many places of interest all within walking distance. It's an older hotel that has had some updates. There is a restaurant and bar downstairs and a very small lobby. The desk staff were very helpful in suggesting things to do in Vancouver. The room was simple but spacious...

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. The room was clean, beds were comfy and there were lots of towels . The front desk staff is very friendly. The hotel offers parking, a restaurant and a lounge. It is right across the street from the Orpheus theatre, a short walk to the Canada Line and the shopping at Nordstrom or...

This hotel is in a great location, close to the Vancouver city center rail stop, so quick and easy access to/from the airport, and walking distance to pretty much everything with Several shops and restaurants very near by.

The public spaces are modern and welcoming. The room had been updated comfortably, with enough space to put our possessions. The plentiful pillows were of varying quality, but all white bed linens were great; you know they are really clean. The bathroom was as fresh as it could be without having been gutted. The tub was old, the tile very...

Using Trip Advisor as our guide we stayed at the Moda Hotel and were not disappointed. Comfortable accommodations and a good location to walk most of the downtown area. We were moved to the tower across the street as the main hotel was overbooked. Very quiet and spacious. There is a business center in the main hotel and we were...

The Moda Hotel was clean, the bed and room were comfortable. It is a small hotel which my husband and I prefer. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant and it was good. The location is central thus you can walk easily around the downtown and catch the seabus to North Vancouver if you want.

Typical 3* hotel. Close to everything in downtown vancouver. Loud noise from fans/AC units even from fourth floor on the backside of hotel. Very little counter space in bathroom. Staff is courteous and helpful. Room is small but clean. Wifi is not that strong.

Staying in Granville Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
