This hotel is in a nice area within walking and short driving distances of attractions. The hotel was well kept and very spacious. Parking was free. The staff was friendly and helpful. Restrooms were nice with both a shower and tub combination. The beds were comfortable. The double bed room came with a refrigerator but not a microwave. We enjoyed our stay.

Spacious room and comfortable bed, reasonable price. The parking lot was very tight but nice that there’s free parking. The staff were quite nice. However, I would hesitate to stay again. It’s next to a noisy road so traffic noises could be heard even late at night. My room and the bed sheets had a strong chemical odor, and the bathroom wasn’t the cleanest with a mildew smell on the shower curtain. The heat was on very high, and there was no way to turn it off. Location was convenient to many restaurants and shops. Really wanted to like this place, but given the odor and noise, it wasn’t very comfortable and wish I had chosen to go elsewhere.

All in all my stay was pretty bad. The edges of the floor by the baseboards were filthy, you could tell they hadn't been properly vacuumed or shampooed in a very long time. There was a shower head, but no pull lever to actually turn on the shower. Yeah...how did the plumber miss that? The towels were frayed on the edges. Clearly old. The face clothes were stained with makeup or another black substance. And the condition of one of the wall outlets....fire hazards??

My daughter and I stayed in this hotel at the end of Sept18. Small hotel, practically no amenities inside the room, not even complimentary water. But the room is spacious, with ample space in the closet, and the bathroom even has bathtub. The Air-con is small, though we did not use it in the cold September weather. The room has a free standing heater which is sufficient to warm the room up. I like the electricity wall socket as it acts as a travel adaptor, allowing other countries' cable connections. Walls are quite thin, we could hear people talking next door. Location is good with bus no.19 connecting Metrotown and Stanley Park through downtown passes in front of the hotel, and skytrain station Joyce-Collingwood is within 10mins. walking distance. A lot of restaurants nearby, as well as drugstore and coin laundry shop. No meal provided in this hotel. I won't suggest this hotel if you have a family as this hotel does not have any children playground. But if you just look for a reasonable priced hotel for sleep and travel, this is one of the good choices

Last min booking a hotel for business in Vancouver. Inventory was practically non existent... I was lucky to find the Deluxe Hotel. The summer night was very hot in July. 30 degrees, rather unusual for Vancouver... The AC was off when i first arrived, but cooled down the room quickly ... surprising as the room was rather large. The bed was comfortable and as the location Bordered Burnaby on Kingsway, it was quick to all areas of the Mainland.... An older hotel, the roomswas a little worn, but any deficiencies i pointed out, were quickly addressed by the management. Free parking in the back. on a two night stay, and the cities hotels fully booked, i was grateful to have a place to sleep.

We stayed here in a family room for 2 nights. This hotel was only around 25 minutes drive from the airport. I picked this hotel as I found hotels in downtown were extremely expensive and after reading through tripadvisor and disregarding the ultra-picky reviews it looked like it could be a good alternative. Yes, the area did look a bit run down and the hotel a bit tired. But the staff were very friendly and helpful and there was free parking. The room was clean and had toiletries and coffee making facilities as well as air con. And there was plenty of room for the 5 of us. The hotel did not offer breakfast, but there was a subway just over the road and a Tim Hortons a short walk down the road and both do breakfast options. There was also a Safeway within walkable distance so you could get bits from there quite easily if needed. The transit bus picked up almost outside the hotel. This went into downtown and all the way to Stanley Park so although not a quick trip it was a cheap convenient option to get into the city. Overall I would say if you are looking to keep the costs down, aren’t looking for anything too fancy and don’t mind having a bit of a journey into the city this hotel would meet your requirements.

Crap. Pics show it all. Not worth more than $50/night. Not a penny more. Almost tripped on the wrinkled buckled carpet 6 times. Disgusting place. The bathroom was nicely renovated but that’s about it. Beds are small and creaky. Very uncomfortable and noisy.

Staff were very friendly & helpful - printed out my tickets for the ferry to Vancouver Island after BC Ferries change the departure point. Everything was clean but a little worn & dated, bathroom fittings were a little loose. Area looked a little shabby but we walked to Safeway & Tim Horton's at about 10 pm and felt perfectly safe.

This hotel is given 4 stars- I don’t know how. The curtains weren’t even hung, the beds sagging in the middle. Noisy in the room from street traffic. Generally a very tired and dirty look and feel. It advertises being renovated but Im guessing it was only the room they photographed that got renovated. Parking under building feels very unsafe and neighbouring restaurant has boards saying not to leave things in the car. For over two hundred dollars a night I’m actually feeling angry. Totally false advertising. I would avoid. Coffee machine dirty, milk splatters on the picture frames - seriously ? Ugh - thankfully only 1 night.
