DONT STAY HERE !!!! The most disgusting rooms I've ever seen ! First room we had looked fine until you got to the bathroom. The tap was leaking, the toilet seat is literally falling apart and peeling and the water in the shower would go from cold to hot with little time at a normal temperature. Then to top it...

This is the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in. I thought the bottom of the bath was stained through age until my husband rubbed it with a little soap and it turned white, it was just filthy. He then rubbed the carpet with a damp rag which turned black immediately. Apart from the foyer the rest of the hotel...

I was pleased that they are also pet friendly as I was travelling from the airport with my cat. They have shuttle service at the hotel but failed to tell me before my arrival that they had no current service as the driver had recently quit. The hotel reimbursed me for cab fare which was very nice of them. There...

If your looking for a cheap room rate, then this would be the place for you. The building is old and showing its age. Our room had an iron burn in the carpet. The bathroom was very small, although it had everything you would expect. The space in the room was a little less than most. The beds where average....

arrived at 12 midnight [ hotel was recommended by Amtrak].Hotel surrounded by dealership, and not well attended commercial establishment, liqour stores etc.Initial thought was that we are in the opposite side of the world as candidate's posters in this ethnic neighborhood for a Canadian election did not look like what books say majority Canadian people look like, except for 3 tipsy...

The staff were the only thing going for this place. Everything else is well below par or downright dangerous. Minor points include bad to non existant wi-fi signal, ear splitting air con, dirty iron, fridge on the floor so the door wouldn't open without lifting the whole thing, broken table lamp, chunks of ceiling missing and a lift out of...

I chose this hotel because if it's proximity to Vancouver airport, the hotel is in need of being updated and renovated. I expected that all Super 8 hotels to be of a certain standard, sadly this one was lacking!

Staying in Little India / Punjabi Market

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India / Punjabi Market
Little India has changed in recent years. While some view it as a declining neighbourhood due to emigration and competition, it is still the original site of the Punjabi Market, and an epicentre for Indo-Canadian culture. The many textile outlets along these blocks boast endless swaths of colourful sari fabric, while the local markets and food stalls waft the savory scent of sugar and spice. Indian fast-pop breaks the quiet of the neighbourhood, as it drifts out from the windows of shops and homes, and glitzy storefronts offer bangles, jewels, and silk at reasonable prices. Join the bargain hunt and step into a world apart in Little India, which becomes especially upbeat during the summer, when celebrations and festivities take hold of its streets.
