The bath tub is in poor shape. The water tap for the bath tub is too old and not functioning that well.

Do not stay here...even though it is inexpensive, this is the worst hotel that we have ever stayed at. Dirty, old, and the staff which consisted on one person at a small dirty counter with garbage about. Internet never worked properly for the 3 days that we were there and they kept coming up with all types of excuses. Staff...

Hotel has seen better days - Flags flying outside were all tattered and there was garbage scattered over the roof area from the roof parking area. Our room on the fifth floor had a balcony but the street noise made sitting outside uncomfortable. The bathtub was dirty, one elevator was out of service, and the curtain in our room had...

Great location if you want to be a little ways away from the tourist hotels. It is walking distance to a large mall, a camera shop and across the street from a great breakfast restaurant. Neighborhood bus stops on this street to take you to the Empress Hotel area. It is centrally located to the Castle and the drive along...

The hotel is old and definitely needs a makeover, but if your looking for something near the airport this place does the job but barely. The price was high for what you get. I arrived about noon and in most hotels I have been in all over the world, you can check in early or at least register and get...

Our room was infested with bed bugs. We got bitten every night that we were there. Blankets and pillows had blood stains all over (so it was not just us who got bitten). The walkway smelled of dead rat and was unbearable. The hotel is very old and clearly owners don't care to fix it, they are simply banking on...

Staying in Little India / Punjabi Market

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India / Punjabi Market
Little India has changed in recent years. While some view it as a declining neighbourhood due to emigration and competition, it is still the original site of the Punjabi Market, and an epicentre for Indo-Canadian culture. The many textile outlets along these blocks boast endless swaths of colourful sari fabric, while the local markets and food stalls waft the savory scent of sugar and spice. Indian fast-pop breaks the quiet of the neighbourhood, as it drifts out from the windows of shops and homes, and glitzy storefronts offer bangles, jewels, and silk at reasonable prices. Join the bargain hunt and step into a world apart in Little India, which becomes especially upbeat during the summer, when celebrations and festivities take hold of its streets.
