This hotel is located just a few blocks from the Hornby Street water taxi dock, and from there a short trip across the water to Granville Island. The hotel has basic kitchen utensils if you plan to eat in-room, which we did for dinners. This trip was specifically to enjoy the bounties of the Granville Market each dinner. The Market...

I am living here for more than 3 months from now and as a hotel, this place is really good, localization is great, furniture is new, decoration has a good taste and the breakfast is not the best one, but it's quite okay. However now that winter is going away, this "residence" starts to shows up its deficiency to handle...

Tied of the hustle and bustle of hotelling we decided to try the Residence. This will now be our go home whenever we return to Vancouver. Spacious and clean with all the services of a high end hotel. Comfy and Cozy. Deluxe complimentary breakfast was Awsome. Full kitchen in our suite. Great view and convenient location. Well done Marriott.

We stayed here twice for one night to bookend a ski trip to Whistler in March 2017. The staff are extremely competent and willing to help with any matter, big or small. Particular shoutout to Calin, who checked us in at 4am after a long and dreary drive from SeaTac. Rooms are spacious and the beds are lovely--we did not...

Stayed in this property years ago, and it was a bit tired at the time. What a surprise I got on a recent stay when our condo flooded and we needed urgent nearby accommodation. The hotel was redone top to bottom fairly recently and is beautiful, modern and well run. The staff was very accommodating regarding out situation, and always...

We have stayed at a number of hotels in Vancouver and I normally would stay at the Wall center but a deal brought us to the Residence Inn and I am very happy it did as we may have found our NEW favorite hotel. The staff was incredibly accommodating: we got into town early and just hoped to be able...

We were 2 nights in Vancouver on vacation and everything in this hotel went very smooth. It started with a swift check-in process and a nice and clean studio on the 11 floor. We ate twice in the restaurant and the people were helpful and very friendly. Especially the lady chef from Romania was very authentic in helping us to...

I stayed in this hotel for around 1 week - Although it is neat, service is good and it is secure besides being in a great location, I felt it is a family type of hotel and probably single people would get little bit bored if they like to do activities within the hotel premises.

Dear RMK1982, Thank you for your review - we're pleased you enjoyed your stay. This hotel is purpose built to accommodate extended stay travellers predominantly in the corporate market, although we also see leisure guests on longer stays (like you). We were part of a group of 14 who met in Vancouver for a family gathering and were all treated with courtesy, accommodation and goodwill by all management and staff with whom we came in contact. All adjectives we have for this facility are positive.

Staying in Davie Village

Neighbourhood Profile
Davie Village
Davie Village is the vital LGBTQ heart of Vancouver. It is the only like area in the world to have a permanent four-way rainbow crosswalk, to symbolise the city's solidarity with many of the businesses, ranging from bars to bookstores, that keep the area vibrant. By day, it is a people-watching stop, with fantastic boutique cafes, but at night is when it really shines, humming with neon lights and nightclub music inside many of the hip and trendy bars and dance halls. The area is diverse and welcoming, and its supportive community makes for a tight-knit group of independent and creative shops.
