Stayed here for about 5 days. Keep in mind there are no cooking facilities apart from microwaves. NO FREEZERS! They told me if I wanted to use a kitchen I needed to go to their other hostel. They did say in the listing that their...More
We last stayed here in summer 2011, and the hostel remains largely the same, although the surrounding streets seemed a little more edgy. It is very central and busy but we never felt unsafe. We had two private rooms, with shared toilets and showers across/along...More
I had a great experience staying at this hostel- the staff was friendly and helpful, there was a basic breakfast, the other travellers were friendly, there were good resources for exploring the city, and I felt safe there. Do bring a padlock (not included with...More

Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy
social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.

They have a luggage room at the hostel.
I think there is pay-parking nearby.
Hello, we left our luggage there just after check out for a few hours only. There is a small room for our luggages. Unclear whether hostel would allow you to store luggages over a few days.My suggestion: travel light!
