West End. Charming, mature residential area just a couple of blocks from Stanley Park. Some high rises but many low-rises, as well. Super walkable to anything we wanted to see/explore. We happened to come during Pride Weekend and the neighborhood was host to the...More
We had the two level roon with a livingroom downstairs and a sitting room and bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Beautiful decorated and very comfortable. The bed was lovely and the bedding of good quality. The breakfast was very delicious. They had cookies, muffins downstairs for...More
The property was very quaint. It was a comfortable and clean place for a family of four. The suite doesn't offer breakfast but does have a full kitchen. That was a welcome amenity for a family that would be away for two weeks. Eating out...More
A small, British architecturally inspired dream inn , surrounded by modern apartment complexes, so settling there is like pleasantly venturing into an oasis of a softer past era. A perfect place to unwind after trekking and exploring Vancouver and environs all day long. The interior...More
With two couples visiting we decided on the apartment which is on the lower level of the house. The home is very clean and centrally located just a short walk to the beach, Stanley Park and some great restaurants. The apartment has two bedrooms with...More

A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along
with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.

You would get on the bus at the Vancouver downtown bus station (I don't know the address but I'm sure it's on the BC Ferries Connector website) which would take you to the ferry terminal at Tsawwassen. You can get off the bus while on the ferry, then reboard in order to go from the ferry to the Victoria downtown bus station. Hope this helps!
