Booked the English Bay Inn as the first 2 nights of our North American holiday and it got us of to a fantastic start.
Nestled amongst multi-storey apartment complexes English Bay seems out of place but my goodness is it a beautiful place to stay....More
Fab place in great location, a block from the beatiful English Bay. We had a "cozy" room which was small but a comfortable bed and everything you needed

I had the most wonderful experience staying at the English Bay Inn during my time in Vancouver. The location was perfect with close proximity to beautiful English Bay and Stanley Park. Whilst it was a good walk to the Downtown area, it was easy to...More
We have just stayed at the English Bay Inn and it is superb! The accommodation, food and service is excellent. If you are looking for a comfortable abode with all the trimmings in Vancouver, this is the place for you.
Wow the breakfasts were an absolute highlight, Alberto and his team make you feel so welcomed. Nothing is too much trouble and each day we had something totally new and equally excellent for breakfast. Frankly I'd come back for the breakfasts alone! When on a...More

A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along
with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.

You would get on the bus at the Vancouver downtown bus station (I don't know the address but I'm sure it's on the BC Ferries Connector website) which would take you to the ferry terminal at Tsawwassen. You can get off the bus while on the ferry, then reboard in order to go from the ferry to the Victoria downtown bus station. Hope this helps!
