Top notch hotel in the heart of the city. Staff was very friendly. Checked us in very quickly. Got to the room and couldn't have been more happy. The room was excellent. Looked like it was remodeled recently. The restaurant attached to the hotel was very good too. We stayed here for a week and had a blast!

The wife does all the searching online for booking accommodation. She found this one and booked it. Looked good. When arriving after a long flight from Australia and getting in at 7.30am after a 13.5hr flight, the staff were good and rushed us a room by 10.30am so we could get in, have rest and freshen up. It was really...

We always stay here when we take in a trip to see a hockey game. Love the location and that you can park your vehicle for the night and just leave it. The rooms are a little older but kept very very clean. Beds are comfy! Views are amazing! Thanks!

we stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed the location. We did some great daytrips up to Capilano and Grouse Mountain and also were within walking distance of the Ice Hockey and Football stadiums. It is also close to a railway station so you can jump on a train from the airport at a fraction of the cost of catching...

Spent 6 nights here over a two week period, while not 5 star is is really quite good, being an all suite hotels, you have separate bedrooms and living areas and a kitchen, and laundries on every other floor. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom while maybe a little small is more than adequate. Downstairs there is a pub,...

We visited Vancouver again at the beginning of March. Again we stayed here at the Rosedale on Robson. We had a great stay. Our room was very spacious and very clean. The view was nice, we were able to watch it snow in Vancouver, we have never been there when it snowed before. The bed was very comfy, coffee was...

Thank you for your review of the Rosedale. We will add your comments about the continental buffet for our review of what is offered. I am sorry that your WiFi seemed to have issues as we have done an extensive upgrade which is fully supported by Shaw. Next time you are here, we shall see what the problem is.

The Rosedale is transit friendly as well as walking distance to any major attraction in downtown Vancouver, so that is a huge plus! On the down side - there is no on-site parking so if you bring your own vehicle you either have to pay for valet parking or find a lot nearby to pay & park it yourself. Check-in...

Thank you for your extensive comments about your stay at the Rosedale. I will pass on your comment about no take out coffee to the operator of Original Joe's They offer room service so I am not sure what the problem would be. We do have underground parking which may be full from time to time especially on event nights....

The kitchenette/living room was quite small and dark as there were no windows. The shower/bathtub walls had some mold in the crevices. The bedroom was by far the best room with large windows looking out onto the patio. Check in took a long time and our timeshare exchange reservation was not on file. Fortunately there was a spare room. There...

Thank you for your review of your stay with the timeshare, Vacation Internationale. I will pass on your comments about your reservation as well as the condition of your suite to them as they do their own reservations, housekeeping and maintenance. The pool is closed during the check-out time due to cleaning of the pool area and of course the...

I've stayed at the Rosedale but I suppose it's been about 11 years. While the hotel staff were courteous and helpful we found that the hotel itself hasn't had any updates. It felt old and dirty. For the price difference, next time I stay in Vancouver, I'll spend the extra $30- $50 on a nicer, newer or updated hotel.

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
