We only stayed for one night, but this was one of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed at. Dennis, the general manager, is a delight, with a cheerful presence and wonderful spirit. We arrived a little early, and he let us into the room...More
Dennis and his staff provide great rates, quaint rooms and the best service possible. The Barclay House is the perfect hideaway right in the heart of Vancouver.
Te rooms are always spotless and te food is always delicious!

We stayed 2 nights, the breakfast was 3 courses - little portions. The house is romantic, the room smal - we had king size bed - with a second room with tv etc. It is in a neighbour-street mostly quiet.
For our last night in Vancouver before going back to France, we chose this charming yellow house near Stanley Park. Our garden suite was very nicely decorated and very quiet. The bed was very confortable, we arrived on a sunday evening and everything was perfectly...More
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along
with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
