This is very much a typical Holiday Inn. It’s in a typical downtown location which means it’s well located for the shops, bars, restaurants and attractions. It has typical HI bedrooms which means you are pretty much guaranteed a good nights rest. The breakfast is...More
Nice surprise right in the heart of the city. Within walking distance of nice restaurants and bus tours. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and very clean. The mattress one of the best I've slept on away from home. Very very...More
We stayed half a night in this hotel at the end of a coach tour of Western Canada.
I say half a night because we were up at 2.30am for a 3am taxi to the airport !
However, we slept well (from 8pm !) in...More
Was skeptic with the reservation till I got here.
Location is convenient.
The staff are friendly and the ambience is good.
Rooms are cleaned daily and well.
Disappointing thing though was the breakfast options being limited.

A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along
with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.

Hi, I'm not sure if there is an airport shuttle, we hired a car from the airport. Breakfast was not included in the room rate that we paid, however there is a small restaurant there and some of our group had breakfast there, I'm not sure of the cost though. Perhaps they would have this information re the shuttle etc on their website.
