This hotel is a gem. From the moment you check in until your final departure they are very helpful and extremely friendly. They were very knowledgeable of the area and gave great recommendations on where to run, eat and visit. The rooms are spacious and...More
A very pleasant stay here for 3 nights with my family (2 double rooms). Rooms are modern, nice big tv, desk space, soft beds and pillows- plenty of lights.
Not far from the city centre, and we ate at the hotel every morning for breakfast,...More
My family HAD a reservation here and we were met with nothing but attitude and very non-accommodating service at the front check-in desk by Elizabeth (Liz) and her manager as well. After a 6 hr drive we planned to meet our father here for check-in...More

Very nice room and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was very good and the concierge was very helpful. I highly suggest. Make sure to book in advance around the summer, for the hotel gets packed with outgoing cruisers.More

We appreciate your experienced review and the kind words about the hotel and staff. As you noted it can be difficult to get a room in Vancouver in the Summer so it certainly helps to book in advance and ensure the room type....More
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along
with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
