Got in super late so there was no other available hotel rooms in Van, my bad. Would rather have slept in my truck for the money I would have saved. Surprise! There's an $18 parking fee for an impark lot 2 blocks away. You get back from that little ordeal, and the young woman at the counter treats you like...

Good day Andrew S, First off let me apologize for your guest service experience, please feel free to reach out to me at the property so that I can discuss this situation with you in person. As for the parking situation, unfortunately our hotel was built in an era when parking was not a concern in Vancouver, and now that...

I spent 8 nights at this hotel in Downtown Vancouver. Having read some of the negative reviews about this hotel before arriving I was a bit worried. Nothing to worry about at all. Excellent location, the room was the correct size, the staff were very friendly and helpful. You get a lot of hotel for the money. I will return...

Hotel is a bit older but reasonable for the price. Only complaint is the staff apathy. On the night of 3/26/2016 I required another blanket/duvet and was refused any help from the front desk, there was not an extra provided in our room and I was told it was too bad and that there was nothing they could do for...

Smelled like a old peoples hospital! Rooms we booked not available though they did give us an additional room. Booked in Canada on a Canadian website for a hotel in Canada but charged in US dollars. Sneaky! Car park $23 a night after taxes and 2 blocks from hotel. Room clean and bed comfortable. Bathroom ok and clean. Room heater...

Thank you for taking the time to provide your review of our hotel, as an older property we certainly have our work cut out for us, however for a building that is nearing a century we feel that it shows its character and we are proud of its heritage though we also realize the hotel is in need of some...

This is an old building that, despite renovations, still looks and feels old. We had a double room -- small bed, small wardrobe, small bathroom with a really small shower and no tub. However, the bed was comfortable, the pillows and linens were good quality, we had a flatscreen TV and a Keurig coffee/tea maker, and everything was spotlessly clean....

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
