The front desk clerk was very helpful and nice. Parking was confusing and the room was a little small with one of the beds right next to the door. Bathroom was a good size.

We had the king room. Smallest room I have every had ... anywhere. Our shower didn't work. The prices were hiked for that weekend ( wish I had known.) cost us over 600$ for 2 nights. The 3rd night being only 74$. Very loud. Some kind of construction going on. But good location.

This hotel is a good location with easy access to everything Although I do prefer the West Pender location this one was close to Yale town, the water front and a pleasant walk to the little ferry to Granville Island.

Could not believe the price of this hotel downtown Vancouver with a huge country star in town performing. Staff was great Great location. 15 min walk to BC place or Rogers Arena. 10 min walk to water taxi for Grenville Island. Lots of restaurants and bars near by. Room was small but clean and funtional. Bed was comfortable. But this...

Went down for some medical appointments and this hotel was plenty satisfactory. Was nice being close to everything on Granville. Rooms were a little small but no problems with room at all.

Arrived at midnight and staff were awesome, quick check inn, the room was clean but the decor and appearance of the room looks very old and very poor it's more like a ghetto in a slum, it's a shame while they have the best spot in town, and over priced , the check out team was awesome too

Ramada, Vancouver downtown is a well priced hotel with amicable staff but the amenities are very poor and be warned the internet needs a complete overhaul!!! However, it's cheap and cheerful if you are willing to sacrifice luxuries.

You are probably not surprised to find out that a Ramada was less than desirable! The hotel itself is old and in desperate need of a refresh, top to bottom. The rooms are quite small compared to other hotels in Vancouver. Housekeeping was ok but not great (I found some hair in my bathtub from the previous guest I assume)....

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
