We stayed here the day before we took a cruise out of Vancouver. It was clean enough, but the room was SO small. Our mattress on our bed was old and needed to be replaced. Breakfast was very poor. The only plus for this place...More

We stayed here sight unseen and we were very pleased! The hotel staff was very nice and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included with our one night stay and it was pretty good as well. Very centrally located to the down...More

Dear Kim P,
Thank you for posting your comments and for our 5 out of 5 score.
It was great to read that you had such a fantastic stay and enjoyed so many aspects of your visit.

Despite the fact that I got a government rate to stay here, and I can't imagine paying the full price, I felt a bit ripped off on checkout day. First of all, keep in mind when booking that they don't have a parking lot and...More
Best for its location. Very close to waterfront station and gastown iconic street. Hotel itself is an old small one, with sign of torn and worn. I was given the smallest room but maybe that’s the most affordable price, so that’s fine for me. Room...More

This is a very surprising review. The credit card used for pre-payment online was not provided at check in so it was refunded upono arrival to the hotel (contrary to guest comments and proof of the refund was provided to guest), this was communicated to...More
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of
Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.

You can take the Sky train (which becomes a subway once it gets closer to town and get to a stop relatively close) It is a relatively short walk, but depending on which stop you get off, you might have an uphill climb. So as long as everyone is fit. The price from the airport to the hotel is regulated so you don't have to worry about someone pushing up the fare on you if you decide to go by cab. We went by cab, and we also rode the subway out tot the airport just for fun. However, when we left our hotel to go to the airport to return home, we took a cab.
