First time at the Sandman. Stayed for the Bette Midler show June 2 at Rogers Arena 2 blocks away. Great hotel for the price, great location. Room in the Corporate Tower a must. Very clean and had everything we needed, nice towels, non slip mat for bath tub (no grab rail though which these days is a must have!) Could...

Girlfriends, ( two women ) in a room with double beds. We can't attest to other rooms but ours was abysmal. Although beds were comfortable enough, the air conditioning unit in the room was incredibly noisy but we had to keep it on to keep the room at a reasonable temperature. Nowhere in the washing/ bathing area was there a...

What you have read from other posts says it all about this hotel. What you haven't read also says it all - it would appear that the management has, after a single reply, given up on replying any more. So why would you want to stay here? If location is more important than any other consideration by a wide margin...

As our Cosmos Tour will departure from here, we stayed in this hotel for two nights, NOT BY CHOICE! Apart from " good location " , this hotel has nothing to offer. Everything is old and nothing is working ! 1) the Air Condition digital control panel no display, it can't be used to adjust the temperature , so we...

My daughter had booked me a room here and they lost the fax she sent with her credit card on it to pay for the room, they did not call her to confirm anything and we had to request twice for items we wanted, overall the customer wasn't even close to satisfying. Won't be staying in this sandman again.

Stayed 2 nights, staff friendly and the hotel was clean but this doesn't make up for the loud, noisy air conditioner in the room, the air conditioning units outside my window and the noise coming from the continuous use of the ice machine near my room. Hardly got any sleep. Had to turn the air conditioner off in my room...

I booked this hotel with Hotwire, which is always a risk. But most of the time I'm pleased with what I get. I really can't say that this time. The room is small for 3 of us. But the worst part is the air or lack if it. The bathroom is stuffy and hot, and there seems to be no...

My friend and I spend six nights here recently for our annual girls away trip......the hotel had everything we needed, was clean, comfy beds, loads of towels changed everyday! The staff were lovely and were able to advise on restaurants for us to try each evening. We had a safe box at reception, which we could access as often as we needed, this was free...

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and it's always my go to. It's very nice in the tower and has all the amenities with a fraction of the cost. It's not the 5 star everyone on here seems to expect but it's great for a fraction of a five star hotel.

We booked this hotel as park of an extended holiday traveling across North America. After staying in a Sandman hotel in Calgary i was expecting much the same and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were modern looking compared to the outside of the hotel and much nicer then the Calgary hotel. the front desk staff were very helpful and even...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
