The title pretty much says it. The staff was great. The room was nice and had a good view, but it was slightly too small for comfort and the AC was like sleeping next to a jet engine. We tried the breakfast once and only...More

Very good location, just few minutes away from aqua-bus to Granville Island, downtown, Robson street, good restaurants. The room was very conformtable with an excellent view of downtown. Beds were also very good. Good return for the money.

The hotel staff were helpful and friendly but it was the experience of trying to find a room with good air conditioning that ruined the stay. The first room we were given was nice except it felt like a sauna and the next room had...More

We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. It is just 10 minutes away from Granville Island walking and is well located Yaletown a couple of blocks away that would offer different dinner options, Robson St 20 min walk and you have stores and many...More

A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along

with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.

There isn't an airport shuttle, the fastest way would be by taxi from the airport, The taxis have a set( flat fee) fare schedule leaving the airport - it would be $31 from airport to the hotel and about 20 min or so depending on when you arrive in Vancouver (in rush hour may be longer - but wouldn't cost you anymore).
If you take the Canada Line (train) it's $9.75 per person, you would get off at Yaletown then either switch to a local service bus(which wold be a pain if you have large luggage) get off at Howe St and walk 3 blocks to the hotel.
Going to the Cruise ship terminal, depending on how much luggage you have, you could walk about 2 blocks and grab a bus on Granville St - larger bus so better to accommodate large suitcases. it would cost about $2.75/pp then you would have to walk about 3 blocks to the terminal...
The hotel would be able to get you a taxi for sure, but it is pretty crazy around the terminal on cruise days, so I would suggest you pre-book the cab!
For more information about buses and train options go to Translink website and use the trip planner option.
The Executive is about 14 blocks from the cruise ship terminal( Canada Place) about 2 km.
