Fifth time at the Opus Hotel. Always great service. Location in Yaletown is great, just beside the SkyTrain and multiple restaurants & bars. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Only issue is their elevators, the magnetic card reader is quite sensitive and you often need to slip your card many times before you get the green light and you can go...

We've stayed at the Opus a few times now, and keep coming back. The staff are friendly and fantastic, the rooms are perfect, and the location is great. Vancouver is a great city, and the Opus is ideally located to access a lot of the city. There is plenty to do within walking distance, and it's surrounded by terrific restaurants....

Visited BC with girlfriends, check was easy with a welcome glass of champagne, valet was great when I left wallet in car, walked everywhere we needed, lots of nearby spas, and when I left my contacts, they found them and shipped them to me right away. We will be coming back.

Perfect location for exploring Vancouver on our first trip there. Beds are really comfortable. The layout is slightly strange to have the bathroom along the windows facing the street but it's ok as long as you remember to close the blinds. I enjoyed that they left water beside the bed when they did the turndown service. Would stay here again...

I have stayed at the Opus a few times when I have been in Vancouver for work. The staff are great and very friendly. I like that I get an email the day before I check in and I can request if I want to be on a higher floor or away form the elevators. The hotel is unique and...

Dear littlerb, Thank you for you continuing to return to OPUS for your business trips into Vancouver. It was fantastic to read how you feel the staff are "great and very friendly"! We we're glad that you once again enjoyed your stay, but would like to apologize for the alarm clock from the next room disturbing you in the morning....

I stayed at the Opus Vancouver Hotel while filming a commercial in Vancouver and based on the number of puffy black jackets and pretentious satchels it was pretty clear that the Opus heavily caters to film crews. ;) The staff is nearly a parody of Canadian nicenes in their attention and responsiveness. I have an admittedly ridiculously trivial pet peeve...

Loved our stay here! We were greeted with prosecco upon checkin and the service was impeccable. The rooms are contemporary and spacious for downtown, and you are right in the heart of Yaletown. Our room included continental breakfast, which was delicious and worth the upgrade. This place is worth the price. We will definitely book here on future trips!

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
