I can be critical as I own a hotel in another city. But I simply can not find a fault with this property. The price is way below comparable properties in the city and our five night stay was without a hitch,...did I say without a hitch? Very minor, but both our room swipe cards quit on the second day but the...

We were able to walk to most places. And it is near the bus line to Granville Island. Or you can just walk the 3 miles, too. We took the BC Connector bus/ferry to Victoria for the third leg of the trip. The pick up spot was only around the corner from the Auberge. Very convenient.

We stayed for a couple of nights while attending the wine festival. Our suite was on the tenth floor with a nice eating area, good size living area. Bedroom had a comfortable king bed, TV, desk and ample room to move around. Bathroom was centrally located between the living area and bedroom. The hotel was quiet both within the hotel...

We were very happy with our choice of Auberge for an overnight stay in Vancouver. We were welcomed warmly and were able to check our bags early and do some touring before check in. Waterfront Station is a five minute walk. Canada Place is across the street, Starbucks on the corner. When we returned and checked in we were pleasantly...

Stayed 3 nights, of which 2 were for business. Our group rate was $160 which made this a very decent option for downtown Vancouver (Anything over $230, I would say "meh", go elsewhere!) Check in was a bit unfriendly. It was a quiet Sunday but staff were blasé and reticent to explain the rate when I asked for clarification. Nor...

Dear McMarshal, Thank you for writing a very comprehensive review of your experience at The Auberge. As you mentioned in your comments, we are not equipped to provide room service; however, there is an extensive menu for the Lions Pub (which is the restaurant in the building) in your suite so takeout meals for lunch and dinner can be ordered...

Great location walking distance to basically everything downtown. Close to the train station so easy access from the airport which was ideal for us not having a car. Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
