We found Between Friends and were quite happy with our stay-- a good value in Vancouver away from the bustle of the city and downtown yet close to all the action in this nice Kitsilano neighborhood. Very comfortable room, gracious, accommodating, and available host. Breakfast...More
Cute little rooms in an old heritage house. Bed was pretty good in the Seabreeze room. Simone says she is planning to replace it very soon. Simone is great and interesting to talk to. She obviously loves to meet the clientele. We sat with guests...More
Had a wonderful stay here last week. Simone is a warm and welcoming host who provided a great experience - and delicious breakfast! A big plus was the parking she provides for her guests. I reccommend this B&B to anyone visiting Vancouver.

Kitsilano is one of Vancouver's most transformative neighbourhoods. With a long history of coffee culture and poetry readings, its days of flower children and buskers may be long-gone, but not without leaving their mark on the number of organic restaurants and fair-trade cafes in the area. At the centre of Kitsilano ("Kits" for short) the almost idyllic expanse of Kits Beach offers the opportunity for a
relaxed afternoon of beach volleyball or sunbathing. Along with the beachfront, nearby public pools and trendy street-beats have driven up the homeowners prices, making it a haven for stylish home goods stores, from design and furniture, to supplies and appliances. The multitude of both families and public spaces also make it a happening neighbourhood in the summer, when festivals and fairs take to Kits' streets.
