This B&B is in a wonderful location, beautiful neighborhood. A bit further from competitors down the street, but worth the walk down the beautiful tree-lined street. The innkeepers are not super friendly but did help when requests were made (e.g., when we requested a taxi to the airport for the following morning). The Parlour Suite is absolutely beautiful, but do...

We spent 2 nights at this Inn and were in the Veranda Room. It was a lovely room with a huge bathroom and lots of windows. Unless it cooled down at night it was a bit warm so even a fan would have been great as there was not air conditioning. Breakfast was very good. The gardens were lovely and...

We had a great experience at Beaconsfield Inn! We stayed in the Garden suite. It had a direct entrance. Nice Jacuzzi tub. Fire place. It was a little buggy but we didn't have any issues with bug bites. Breakfast was at 8:30. Some delicious surprises came out in breakfast like papaya with coconut and salmon eggs benedict (both delicious by...

Lovely room, good breakfast but where was the contact? We stayed 4 nights in a great room with large bed and good bathroom. We had NO maid service at all. We spoke to someone when we arrived for 5 minutes, saw someone who served us breakfast but otherwise there was no one around to speak to. The Hot Tub was...

Stayed here with another couple while travelling Canada & USA. Needs renovation, dated, probably last done over 15 years ago & showing wear. Innkeeper does not seem to understand role in a B&B - we virtually never saw him/her. Rooms were not serviced even though a note in ours said fireplace would be reset every day. Breakfast ordinary and no...

What a wonderful place! Loved the history of the house, the art, the staff. The daily breakfast was the most wonderful start of the day and everyday was different and very tasty. Every evening tea and sweets and a small sherry after 6. Well deserved 5 stars. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful accommodation, but service is not 5 star and food is fair. We much prefer Abigail's for the price. We would not recommend this B&B and my husband and I have stayed at many on Vancouver Island. Very disappointing.

This was my second time staying at the Beaconsfield Inn. I chose to this property to celebrate my 49th birthday with my husband (who'd never been here). If you are celebrating a special occasion, or simply are worthy of a treat, this should be your choice in the heart of Victoria. We were assigned the Emily Carr room, which was...

We stayed in the Gatekeeper's suite, which has its own entrance from ground level. This is great if you have bikes, because you can easily get them inside and park them on the tile floor. The suite is large; it has a king, a small sitting area (the tile floor) and two doubles in a separate room. The interior of...
