I will have the best memories of my 40th birthday - mostly because of my husband's surprise trip back to our honeymoon spot 15 years ago - but secondly because it is when Warren and Gary treated us to the best weekend EVER!! They go WAY above and beyond - making reservations so we don't waste our time doing so,...

What an awesome and great experience we had at the Beaconsfield inn. Gary and Warren met and exceeded our expectations. They created the perfect "experience", that both myself and my wife were looking for. We celebrated two major milestones, with this being the return to our honeymoon spot 15 years later and my wife turning the big "4-0". The breakfast...

Wafts of fresh jasmine at the entrance is always a great start! My sisters and I were greeted warmly even though we arrived early. Not only were the beds super comfortable, but the room was quiet with a lovely bathroom, robes, CD's & chocolates. Complimentary sherry & cookies in the afternoon were a nice surprise. Breakfast was fabulous - warm,...

Accommodation options in Victoria are plentiful, in both cost and comfort but real hospitality, with a personal touch, slightly more difficult to come by. Garry and Warren succeed where others may fail or not even bother trying, from arrival to departure their purpose is to make your stay one to remember, for all the right reasons. Centrally located to downtown,The...

Yes it is about 10-15 minutes easy walk from Inner Harbour. Unsure where Kenmore lands but if same as Harbour Air maybe 8-10 minutes more.

The bus from the ferry arrives at the Victoria bus terminal. It is about an 8-10 minute easy walk to the Beaconsfield Inn from there.

The shuttle/bus leaves from the front of the Empress hotel. a 10 min walk from the B&B. I recall the price of the bus ride and admission to the gardens as $48. The whole trip is 3 hrs. The Gardens are about15 miles from downtown Victoria.
