BnB right on the shore of the inlet with amazing blooming bushes and flowers. Dee and Harvey are wonderful hosts who treated me like a valued guest. My suite featured huge picture windows where I watched bald and white tail eagles, hummingbirds, squirrles and egrets. There is even a local raccoon that stopped by on the lower deck while I...

My friend and I stayed here for a week at the end of September 2015. Although it is some way out of Victoria the setting is truly remarkable. We did not have a car and managed the public transport system and the crossing of the freeway! Dee and Harvey are exceptional hosts, I have travelled extensively on all continents and...

Dee and Harvey were delightful hosts. Location of the B+B was perfect overlooking the inlet where sea otters, seals, humming birds and wildlife in general were in abundance. Breakfasts were delicious and very generous Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and happy to recommend it but please note that they are well known and get booked up quickly.

My wife and I were looking for a reasonably priced B&B for the labor day weekend. We found Dee & Harvey's location just bey browsing the web and it seemed great, but only had a couple of reviews. It was more than great - It was PERFECT. Dee was very kind and was able to extend our stay last minute...

the hosts are really accommodating and this would be a great place for a long term stay - they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy - watching the water and herons and eagles and the humming birds was just the restful stop we needed - we will go again - soon I hope

My husband and I stayed at Dee and Harvey's "A Bed on the Inlet" and had an amazing experience. We really hated to leave this lovely, clean, relaxing retreat. It is a one bedroom apartment, located right on the beautiful Portage Inlet, just north of Victoria. There are two large picture windows to enjoy the view and watch the wildlife...

When we got there, we were concerned about the location because it was close to the highway, but once we got in the place, we realized that we were getting access to a full-sized, super-clean apartment, with all the amenities and a great view. What a bonus! The other major plus, is a sweet woman called Dee, she will spoil...

You couldn't ask for a better view, breakfast or comfortable place to stay. It was immaculate and we were treated like family. We were blown away by how much was provided, especially for our baby - a full changing kit, nappies and toys! It's amazing value and we almost felt guilty staying there at this price and being served like...

As a family of three generations we were made very welcome with home-made muffins and cookies. All our needs and requests were catered for and overall our stay was superb. The accommodation was exceptionally well-eqipped. Although close to highway, we were unaware of traffic noise, and the location is beautiful overlooking the inlet.
