I stay here every time I am in Victoria. The staff is amazing and they make me feel like I am at home. It's perfect location means you can walk to down town Victoria. Book here you won't be disappointed.

We stayed 3 nights at Marketa's. The room was comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent with friendly service, especially the Montreal-style bagels with lox. The location is fantastic: walking distance to Victoria Harbour, Provincial Government building, downtown and beyond. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting other travelers from Austria, Germany, Canada and the United States. Marketa's will certainly be our first choice when returning...

We stayed for 2 nights on our return visit to Victoria. Marketa's is in a great location only five minutes walk from Fisherman's wharf and the harbour. We were given a warm welcome and our room was very nice but the bath and shower were inside the bedroom. There is a comfortable lounge and facilities for making drinks. There is...

Cosy, comfy, welcoming bed and breakfast a few minutes walk from Fishermans Wharf. We had a lovely room, small but cute with a freestanding bath. Breakfast was really nice - home made muffins, lots of coffee and then I had the eggs Benedict which were great.

In a very quiet street but close walk to everything you would want to see and do while in Victoria. Breakfast was amazing each day and you could sit outside on the deck or inside on a porch, plenty of space for all. Marketa was very helpful and answered questions for us. There were parking spaces in the back for...

We spend 2 nights here in June 2016 as part of a touring holiday. The décor is quirky and unlike anything I had seen before, the whole house was fascinating and the loveliest place to stay. Breakfast was served in the conservatory and while we were eating she took a tray of home made muffins from the oven, transferred them...

Marketa's b&b is in a lovely period house which is charmingly decorated and furnished in character with the building. Although in a residential district, it is only a few minutes walk to the centre of downtown Victoria, so it is very convenient. We had a warm welcome from Marketa and her team. The breakfasts are fabulous.

It was a very positive experience we had while staying at Marketa's B&B. The room is spacious, clean, comfy bed along with shower, jacuzi and separate toilet. The best part of staying at Marketa's B&B are the five choices of gourmet breakfasts. We tried them all as we stayed for five nights. The next best part is meeting and talking...

Excellent bnb in the perfect location. Only a 5 minute walk to major attractions. Prices are very reasonable compared to other places in Victoria at high season. Lovely room with big bathroom. Breakfast is a hot meal and very tasty. Friendly and accommodating staff. Will definitely be back again.

We did a last minute deal online and got a great deal on the honeymoon room. It had a jacuzzi and ensuite shower. There wasn't hot water to fill the tubb though. Breakfast was delicious. The Montreal Bagel was great. My husband said the same for the Eggs Benedict. It is very close to downtown so there is downtown noise.

Dear Lindsey, thank you for your comments. Very glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We do apologize about the lack of hot water. We were experiencing plumbing problem and we are working hard to correct it. Sometimes those things take a while to fix and we are waiting for a part to arrive. We promise you if you...
