My daughter Chloe and I spent a delightful two days at Marketa's bed and breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious and plentiful breakfast each morning as well as the warm and cozy rooms. The decor was pleasing and tasteful and inviting. Everything was well ordered and neat and tidy as well as clean. HIGHLY recommended!

I really enjoyed my stay at Marketa's. She is a welcoming hostess. The rooms are lovely. The place is nice and central so it is a quick walk to the beach, Beacon Hill Park, the museum or anywhere downtown. There are great restaurants nearby.

This B&B was ideally located, 5 minutes walk from the harbour in Victoria. Marketa and her staff made us feel extremely welcome throughout. The standard of the rooms was excellent and the breakfast made for a great start to the day.

Beautiful character home, very quiet and peaceful. The decor is fascinating with the antiques and interacting with the other guests was quite pleasant. Lovely garden, and very clean. Recommend it for a place to stay while visiting Victoria.

This B & B offered a very rare combination of tremendous comfort and increasingly "rare" authentic atmosphere. Marketa's Bed and Breakfast is a delightful to-be-remembered experience for rest, for a great morning breakfast ...for the period stately 'European'/Canadian architecture - ambience that is becoming quite rare...most definitely. Loved my room over my extended stay. The main floor "drawing" room was...

Comfort and beauty abound. Exceptional hospitality, kindness, and knowledge of Victoria's sights. The inn's decor is rich in color:lively and lovely paintings, photos, textiles. Excellent value! We can't wait to go again!!

Property looks simply unsafe. Hosts come for a couple of hours in the morning. Nobody welcomes you in and shows around, keys are left at the door in the envelope (means, anybody can actually get in). Fire alarm from some late cooking in the guest kitchen wake us up in the middle of the night, and there was nobody to...

I don't understand why this person who stayed two year ago keeps writing the same review. I don't understand why she after all this time try to damage our reputation. I am sad and puzzled by her actions. I was very helpful to this person. We do work very hard in running Bed and Breakfast. I also don't understand why...

My friends and I decided to find a lovely bed and breakfast for a quick weekend trip in Victoria, since they had never been to one before. With distance/room quality/food/cost in mind, I stumbled upon Marketa's Bed and Breakfast , which already had a lot of great reviews online. Here's the verdict: 1) Distance: Walking distance from the Parliament Building...

We stayed in the room with the jetted tub. Our stay was 3 days 2 nights. My wife and I enjoyed the breakfast very much. I have a gluten allergy and they were very accommodating with gluten free English muffins.Very comfy and warm bed. Nice dining room for breakfast where we got to meet and talk with some of the...
