I found the staff to be very disrespectful. I booked thru Expedia where I have VIP status and the Aava is listed as a VIP hotel. That usually means a room upgrade. At a minimum, when I have checked into a VIP level Expedia hotel, I've been acknowledged as a VIP level member and thanked. The Aava failed to recognize...

We stayed a 3 day weekend at the Aava and found the staff friendly, the location was a short walk to the village, clean rooms and comfortable bed. The hot tub was clean and hot with a nice warm pool for an alternative. It was pretty quiet and seemed newer. Would stay here again.

Stayed here with my 10 year old son and another mom/son couple. Chose the hotel because it's close to the Village and had a heated outdoor pool. King bed room was clean, average size. Bathroom was small-ish, but very clean. When we accidentally shorted the hair dryer (using it to dry our ski gloves), it was replaced the same day....

Stayed here over Spring Break. It was the most affordable hotel available due to late booking. The staff were very helpful (from checking skis, to drying boots, to offering a key to the hot tub after we had checked out) and the rooms themselves while a little run down were perfectly fine. Would stay here again.

Great location and very easy to find. I was planning on staying mid january and due to unforeseen circumstances was unable to attend. Isla Thomas, was very accommodating and was able to work with us to find a new date. She really made the difference for us and made a lasting impact on our choice of Whistler lodging. A great hotel with clean rooms. Very spacious. Everyday there is a cleaningstaff. Swimming pool and hottub. Inside the hotel there is a company called Black Tie for skirental. Great service. There's also a breakfast buffet for people who needs it.

Aava is a great place for skiers with some sorts of budget but still want to stay at a hotel. The staff was friendly, clean rooms and both sauna and outdoor pool. No breakfast at the hotel but the was a place across the street.

We stayed here for a week, the staff are great and really helpful offering great advice on where to eat and visit. The rooms are comfortable, warm and very clean with maid service everyday. Only down point I would say is that there isn't much sound proofing! From one room to the next you can hear everything and also between...

We don't have anybody bad to say or complain about. Aava is decent and affordable and an all around fine hotel. The main thing that we didn't realize before we booked was that there isn't a hotel bar to have a night cap at. This isn't a big deal being that Whistler Village has plenty of bars but it's always...

Just a few steps away from the main drag, the Aava is comfortable, friendly and efficient. Rooms are decent in size, in-room temperature controls are responsive, and the hot tub is a welcome respite at the end of the day.
