The short story is that the rooms are not cheap, so we expected the service to reflect the price. This is not the case. We were checked in late. The hotel restaruant (Sidecut) was overwhelmed, so we all shared an appetizer and waited for over an HOUR to receive our main course. The waiter compensated us our dessert to make...

For what you pay you expect the best of the best. In order of concern The ski concierge which is really a solution for not being in the snow as the fairmont is or a ski in /ski out resort - Is a dismal failure! Every day without fail, confusion reigned. They lost a piece of ski equipment every day...

It's like they don't even try. We got here at 4PM the room STILL wasn't ready and we waited three hours to get into our rooms. They have no mini bar, tea or free bottled water waiting which even dodgy motels have. The "in room dining" have not yet got an order made correctly the first time, they've even delivered...

If you are skiing in Whistler, you want either a ski-in / ski-out accommodation, or to be in the village. Ideally both. Four Seasons is neither. The ski concierge service is fantastic and compensates somewhat for an inconvenient location. They will unload your gear as soon as you drive to check in, take it to the Blackcomb base, then store...

We love this place and return every year- the ski concierge for ski in and out is the best! It's only Backcomb however- they go out of their way constantly to make your stay perfect! They give you fresh water in ceramic watcher pitcher next to your bed- no need to spend money on bottled as it's fresh filtered wonderful...

My family and I stay in many 4 and 5 star resorts around the world and are hard critics. I have to say the Whistler Four Seasons was an awesome experience and here is why: Rooms: Very clean, spacious, and great for a family of 4. We had a family suite that had 2 full bathrooms and a large entryway...

Definitely one of the coziness places to stay in Whistler. Even though it may be a 20 min walk to the ski lifts, the shuttles come every 10 mins from the hotel so it's not a hassle. The staff are super friendly and kind. We needed the sofa bed to be opened up and the housekeepers were friendly and striking...

Our family, 2 adults and 3 teenagers spent a week here over Xmas. Having come all the way from Australia we were blessed with perfect conditions at whistler. The resort is great but the location is a problem. Firstly there is only one restaurant in the resort - over 7 nights we found ourselves catching the bus or hotel car...

I really wanted this to be a good trip, but after paying $1500/night for the hotel, I found it was not up to par. Granted, it was the high season, but at this cost, we could have at least for bottled water.
