Its always a pleasurable stay at the Hotel Fort Garry, the beds are like sleeping on clouds and the service is impeccable, the lounge has live music daily which is a really nice way to end a relaxing night. The food and staff were great! Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future!!!!!!

For one of the most expensive hotels in Winnipeg, I was very disappointed in our stay there. Hotel didn't seem busy and they booked us right by the elevator next door to a party that had at least 20 people in it. They finally moved us nearing 10pm. Manager was apologetic but still..... For what you're paying for the rooms,...

I've stayed at the Fort Garry Hotel about 6 times over the past 3 years. As much as I like the old-world charm, the Fort Garry Hotel clearly needs significant upgrades. The rooms are tired with nothing notably interesting. The fitness center has old equipment and a staff that doesn't really seem to care much about being friendly or offering...

Love this hotel. Has such great stature. Staff is very polite with old school service. In room coffee/tea is complimentary, but you have to call down for it. The Palm Lounge is its centerpiece with local musicians and lively vibe. I stayed in 508.

Built in the early 1900's by the Grand Trunk Railways, this hotel is know a Canadian national landmark. The accommodations were charming and included L'Occitan amenities, terrycloth robes, 24/7 coffee and tea delivery. They had a nice lounge called the Palm lounge that was oval and a prime location right off the lobby. The Broadway Room offered a compliment breakfast...

Fort Garry was a very pleasant stay for us. Beautiful Bldg, plus the 7th floor rooms were spectacular for my interviews. The Hotel staff were wonderful and the bedding was excellent. We enjoyed the open kitchen that served breakfast as a custom breakfast order was filled. Eggs were done to perfection, Gordon Ramsey would be proud. $15 a bargain.

This beloved landmark, with it's Chateau style, has now become our personal favorite downtown Winnipeg hotel.
