This hotel has a lot of potential. Historic building, good sized rooms. Nice friendly front desk staff. The price was great and included a breakfast. I was here for one night, this would not be my pick for an extended stay but for one night it is ok. Parking is across the street in a public parking complex. That is... More

Rough------ Parking across the street at public garage. Armed guard in lobby. More gambling machines in bar than people. Ordered food at the bar, don't do it....seriously. Room seemed ok, but really old tiny bathrooms.

Dear Timothy S, Thank you for your recent review of our hotel I appreciate all the feedback I get from our guests. Unfortunately in order to maintain the price of our rooms we do not offer any parking, and as we are a downtown property that is pretty much the standard in any major city centers. We also do not... We only stayed here one night, booked at the last minute and did not look at the reviews before making our reservation. Although there were many unflattering remarks about this hotel, we did not have any issues. The location was great, especially for visiting the exchange. Also a few blocks away was a movie theater with current movies for only... More

Outside looks amazing. Inside is disgusting. Elevator was worn and not kept up. Walk into my first room. Smelt like urine and cig smoke. I wasnt on a smoking floor. Second room lights didnt even work. Terrible everything. Carpets worn and stained. Wifi sucked. The only good thing about this place was that I was able to get a refund.

I booked this hotel through Hotwire, unseen. I was just looking for a one night stopover and have always had wonderful results through Hotwire. NOT THIS TIME!! Upon arriving at the hotel the hotel lobby is quite attractive with lots of beautiful old charm and character. That's where it ends. I was placed on the 7th floor. The elevator was... More

Dear Lynette M, Thank you for your review of our property, it sounds like you were booked on our 7th floor which is our smoking floor. If you required non smoking you should have booked that through hotwire, as the other 6 floors are non smoking. I am sorry that we didn't live up to your expectation as we are... More

My sister's, cousin and I stayed at the Marlborough Hotel when we went in to Winnipeg for a concert. This hotel is in need of major renovating because it's so run down! The room was dirty totally not worth the money they charge to stay there. A lot of questionable people hanging around the outside and even inside, thank god... More

My girlfriend and I booked our stay at the Marlborough through hotels.com, we read mixed reviews but enough recent good ones to let us look passed the negative. PROS: Friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, big rooms, good price, nice old school charm, clean rooms, pet friendly. CONS: Homeless clogging up lobbies/front doors.
