Beautiful historic inn, tastefully decorated, quiet, comfortable, friendly staff, great place to relax. Restaurant on site, excellent food, good service, food well prepared (don't expect it to come out of the kitchen quickly!). The very best seafood chowder ever.

We will never return there again... Yes its an old building...yes it does have nice antiques in it...yes some important people did stay there at one time or another...But it COULD use some TLC... the room we stayed in was #24..dust was on the window...More

I would rate the B&B highly. Our room had a king size bed leaving not much extra space in the room with the 'antiquey' decorations but it was hugely comfortable, with en suite also small but complete. Location is quiet and... More
