With our convenient location, we find that many guests consider it to be the perfect base camp for getaways in St. John's. I would like to share with you that we are soon starting the development of our cafe as well as a full service restaurant within the hotel. Beautiful room/new modern hotel however, the complimentary breakfast was very poor and distasteful. It consisted of stale cereal and brown gooey bananas! Expected more. There were no bakery items left, we inquired at the reception and the young girl told us they hadn't ordered…

Dear dylan r, Thank you very much for taking some of your valuable time to provide us your feedback and recognize our employees in your review. First, please allow us to apologize for the breakfast selection as it was not up to par on the first morning during your stay. Like you mentioned, we are in the process of developing our on-site restaurant as well as a cafe and these additions will give us an opportunity to expand our breakfast and overall food selections for hotel guests. We are eagerly looking forward to this development and being able to bring the guest experience to a higher level. Our maintenance team has looked in to the concern with hallway floor noise and have now found the best resolution. As of this week, we have started making the corrections needed and the issue should be resolved in the coming weeks. Besides this, on behalf of our team I would like to say that we sincerely appreciate your recognition of the personalized service from our colleagues - Michael and Dion. Going above and beyond for our guests represents the best of what our hotel has to offer. Great downtown location, new hotel.

Stayed in January for business. Newer modern designed hotel with a European feel to it. Stayed in room 328 which gives a direct view on the harbour through floor to ceiling large window. Very neat to observe all the ships of various kinds go back and forth. Rooms are a good…

Great Location Downtown

The alt offers a great environment for a working stay in downtown St-Johns. The rooms are modern and very comfortable. There are no restaurants in the hotel but there are plenty to choose from at walking distance. There are rooms with an undisturbed view on the bay.

Is there free parking available?

Hello Martine, our apologies for the delay in answering your question. As noted by Justine, we do have underground heated parking at the hotel which is only $12 for the full day (overnight). Please note that the height restriction for the parking is 6 feet 2 inches.
