You arrive at the house and your key and door code are waiting for you in an envelope downstairs at the door. You never meet the owners. The breakfast is served by someone who doesn't speak very good English, so it's more like a hostel where you have to figure out things yourself. The breakfast he cooked was a little...

I liked very much my stay at 180 Gower House. The house and room were very clean, good bed and familar ambient. The brekafast was very good and its location is very convinient. The concierge (attendant) was very good and helpful all the time.

Off street parking. A/C in St. John's and it was actually needed. It got quite warm the days I was there and it was great to have a shower and simply lie down and chill out for an hour. Breakfast was served right on time and the host was really nice. Nice art everywhere. Rooms were quite quiet.

The caretaker was great. My room was comfortable. Hot water worked. WiFi worked. 5 feet from the street to the front door and another 30 feet to my bedroom. Flat screen TV with 50+ channels House seemed to be very quiet. Now I might have been the only guest and I did sleep in late. The only remarkable thing I...

It was all clean, it all worked out fine, Yosseph was super to deal with. Took maybe 10 minutes to walk anywhere in the downtown. Perhaps 5 minutes to the Rooms Complex and ten minutes to the Sheraton where I had meetings. Great party town, Surprising excellent restaurants for a small place. All relevant information including TV listing was in...

We stayed 4 nights in the Loft (room 5). It was small with a tiny bathroom but was the best room in the house (You may need a Sherpa guide to get to the top). It was a great location to all the attractions, including George Street and the nightlife. The street is noted for its "Jelly Bean" houses and...

Stayed for three nights to enjoy sites around St. John's. We booked the last available room, which was Room 2. This is a really tiny room but we managed fine. The bed was a little too soft for us with a thick foam topper. A very special thank you to Tammy, who lovingly prepared our breakfast, and went out of...

We stayed here because it was close to George street and other attractions. The rooms are typical for the period of the house. Don't come here and expect it to be the hilton. The breakfast was very well done and lots of food laid out. We scored a parking spot and there were a lot more available. I recommend.
