My friend and I stayed two nights in early October. This is a great B&B, one of the best I have ever stayed in. The hosts do everything they can to make you feel at home. The room we stayed in was very large, with lots of space to put our stuff. The bathroom was large and had everything we...

Very nice traditional house at the edge of the centre, in easy reach of restaurants. There is a very nice café just in front. I had the top floor room, that is large, well furnished, comfortable, with a very high quality king size bed, and a good bathroom. The two other rooms were also very nice. The common rooms are...

Our experience at Wit's End was mixed. The Inn is a lovely old three story building conveniently located near the St John's waterfront. James, who lives in the house, was warm and welcoming upon our arrival. He carried our bags to our top floor room and gave us a nice tour of the first floor common areas. He seemed genuinely...

Thank you very much for you review Maureen, As previously discussed with you, I am sorry that you felt uncomfortable with our desire to have you hold on to your keys. This is something that we do for all of our returning guests, for their convenience. We were simply trying to make arrangements that would allow you to prioritize your...

We ended our two week trip to Newfoundland in late August with a two night stay here. Upon our arrival after driving 8 hours from Rocky Harbour, James was very nice to take our heavy luggage up one flight of stairs to Room 2. This was a good sized room with a nice large window overlooking the street. There is...

We booked two nights at this wonderful B&B. Janet and her son James were wonderful hosts. Our room was wonderful and the breakfasts were excellent. The B & B was wonderfully located- you could walk everywhere. Would highly recommend this B&B to anyone.

We started our 12 day Newfoundland vacation here at the end of July. What a wonderful place to stay! The room was large, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Our hosts were warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. One of the best B & B's we have ever visited!

Janet and Garry made us very welcome during our short stay At Wit's Inn: their lovely house was warm, comfortable and full of local interest. Breakfasts were typically Canadian - plenty of fresh fruit, eggs and bacon and tea (kept warm in the biggest tea cosy we've ever seen!). Our room was comfortable and spacious, with lovely rugs on the...

Conveniently located, spacious room (two sitting areas, plus queen bed) & en suite and a different delicious breakfast each morning, At Wit's Inn is where it's at for me. Janet, always kind and helpful, catered to my 'no meat' requests each morning of our 3-night stay. The house is gorgeous and accommodates six guests, so it's a very comfortable, intimate...

Stayed 3 nights at Wit's Inn. Great hosts, delicious breakfasts, excellent service and accommodation. We had a beautiful room on the top floor which was a bit warm with the unusually hot weather while we were there, but our hostess, Janet, had fans running trying to keep us cool. Located on Gower Street, the Inn is within easy walking distance...
