Detailed Reviews
My wife and I decided to spend our honeymoon at the Stella Rose after our trip to France was canceled due to the recent pandemic; it turned out to be a fantastic choice. Neil and Robyn are excellent hosts. They're very professional, friendly, and welcoming. They had great recommendations for anything we were looking for in the surrounding area. They also made great efforts to follow sanitation and distancing guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19, which made us feel more at ease.
We stayed in the Sunset Suite, which we found was highly clean, comfortable, and ideal for what we needed. We quickly learned the morning breakfast they provide was excellent and made us look forward to it each day. We also enjoyed relaxing on the patio to take in the atmosphere and speak with other guests, as well as their dog Chico (who is very friendly & calm).
We also liked taking short walks to downtown Wolfville. We were able to easily explore local bars, restaurants, and wineries. The Harvest Moon trail is also only a short distance away if anyone is looking to cycle, run, or walk.
Overall we had a great experience. The Stella Rose B&B offers you everything you want out of a trip. We're hoping to return back soon.

A great bed and breakfast must have comfortable accommodations, interesting / quality breakfasts and hosts that make you feel welcome. The Stella Rose hits home runs on all three accounts.
Our room Sunrise Terrace was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with a beautiful balcony that received the morning and early afternoon sun. There is a useful awning for those particularly sunny days. The bed was most comfortable and the bathroom large and bright with a nice jacuzzi.
Breakfast was very well prepared with considerable choice. The local apple cider was really nice and the coffee very good. Eating outside on a large terrace allowed for social distancing yet at the same time the opportunity to chat with other guests.
We took Neil up on his winery tour, a full afternoon visiting five nearby wineries. The wine industry in and around Wolfville has really taken off during the past number of years. Neil is not only knowledgeable about the wines but a most interesting host with numerous stories to share. A very enjoyable experience.
During the entirety of our stay we felt very much at home. Robyn and Neil are very personable, easy to chat with. And then there is the Client Relations Officer – Chico the Bernadoodle. A bundle of positive energy Chico is both friendly and well behaved.
We very much enjoyed our three-night stay, and would recommend The Stella Rose to anyone looking for a place in Wolfville

I have stayed in many places in Wolfville and around the world and this was by far my favorite. It felt so at home and cozy, it was such a cute place with such welcoming hosts. There was tea, coffee, and cookies downstairs whenever we wanted, we had a huge choice for breakfast, and the room was large and extremely clean, I kept smelling the blanket b/c I just loved the smell. The bathroom was beautiful, it had a jacuzzi with every possible thing you might need for a fun bath in the cabinet, as well as wonderful smelling bath products. The bed was so comfy, I fell asleep the second my head hit the pillow. You can control the temperature of the room yourself so it will be comfy no matter how cold or hot you like it.
This stay completely surpassed my expectations, I never have felt the magic of Wolfville I hear about until this stay. I was even moving into a new place and the owners gave me a house warming gift.
If you want to experience what Wolfville is all about, this is absolutely the best place to do that. Far better than any of the hotels and other Air bnbs around, many have rude owners or are a little gross but not here, they are sooo friendly, and extremely clean. 100% recommend, you need to stay here.

My sister and I stayed for a couple of nights recently. We chose this B&B based on the reviews and it did not disappoint. The house has a cozy, warm and inviting feel to it but the owners are the real stars! Robyn & Neil make you feel like you’re visiting family to the point where I’m looking forward to going back hoping to spend more time with them! They are very welcoming, engaging, fun and obviously love what they do!
Although we had to cancel Neil’s wine tour at the last minute, which I’m sure disrupted his day, he was so understanding and graciously drew us a map so we could at least see the beautiful scenery of the area.
Breakfast was delicious each day with a wide variety to choose from and very generous portions.
The room was equipped with everything you’d find in a five star hotel such as robes and cozy throws on the bed.
This B& B personifies what a visit to the « valley » should be as it showcases the inviting nature of the area which is surrounded by beauty.
Thanks for everything Robyn, Neil and Chico, we loved our visit and can’t wait to go back!

This charming B&B was the perfect addition to our vacation. The hosts were amazing, their residence is beautiful and the location is purely picturesque. They were very friendly and inviting, offering suggestions for meals, cocktails and running locations which added so much value to the experience. They have truly thought of everything- chilled water in the room (in a small wine fridge, in case you want to chill a bottle or two while visiting), wine and water glasses in the room, the SOFTEST bath robes, and amazingly comfortable beds. There was coffee available anytime with plate of fresh cookies and Neil’s breakfast was phenomenal. I can’t recommend the Stella Rose enough-you must stay here!

This was our first time staying at this B&B and it was amazing. Neil asked ahead of time about our food preferences or food allergies, and made the most delicious gourmet breakfast. Both Robin and Neil are great hosts, and have the an absolutely beautiful home, and amazing property. Their back patio will feel like you’ve been transported to Tuscany. There were no details overlooked, right down to the hedgehog,(the prickly little toothpick holder :)
There are no Words to describe their beautiful welcoming personality. Their guest relations coordinator , Mr. Chicco j., ensured that his guests are happy from the moment they step on the property and right up until they leave. We came for the wine and felt like we left with new friends.
We will definitely be coming back.

It was our first trip to Nova Scotia, and Wolfville was the first stop on our journey. It is a cute, quaint town, and everyone was very friendly, but the best part of Wolfville for us, was our stay at The Stella Rose Bed & Breakfast. Partly because the accommodations were incredibly comfortable, unbelievably charming and clean, with a beautiful back porch surrounded by fresh flowers, greenery, shade covering and the friendliest dog named Chico. Much attention and consideration was paid to Covid provisions, while still maintaining such a cozy, laid-back environment, all designed to make you feel completely relaxed and attended to. The breakfast options were impressive and unbelievably delicious and filling! That being said, I think the best part was meeting the two phenomenal people who run the B&B. Neil and Robyn are the epitome of Nova Scotian hospitality! They go above and beyond to guarantee that you have a wonderful experience in Wolfville. They seem to know everyone in town, and everyone seems to adore them, and it’s obvious as to why, they are the most genuine, fun, friendly and knowledgeable people who are spectacular at what they do! Even their firecracker staff member named Sheila, sang her praises about them to us. Sheila is one of the happiest employees we’ve ever come across, and we’re not the least bit surprised. They are a force to be reckoned with! I can’t recommend The Stella Rose enough.

Robyn and Neil have thought of tons of small details in both the common areas and the guest rooms that made our overnight easy and comfortable. Frictionless stay, great bed, great breakfast, and excellent suggestions for things to see, routes to run, etc. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends!

We are returning guests to the Stella Rose and this time we brought along two of our best friends to partake in a Wolfville adventure.
We stayed for two nights in the Sunrise Terrace and our friends stayed in the Sunset Suite. The rooms were very comfortable, meticulously clean and had all the amenities you needed for a relaxing stay.
We awoke each day to a choice of a filling breakfast. We all had a favourite - eggs benny, pancakes and an English breakfast - everybody left the table with full bellies and smiles on their faces.
The location of the Stella Rose is perfect - it is a short walk into town to take advantage of the local restaurants, pubs and shopping.
We would highly recommend doing the wine tour with Neil. There were many laughs had by all. Neil’s wine knowledge helped to guide us through the many tastings of the beautiful wineries we visited. It was a perfect day out ending with a glass of wine on their spacious patio and some play time with the friendly bernedoodle Chico.
Robyn and Neil are wonderful hosts and make you feel at home. They go above and beyond to make sure that you are enjoying your vacation.
Thank you so much for a great stay and the lasting memories. We will be back next year and look forward to seeing you again.

We stayed in the Sunrise Suite at the Stella Rose for 2 nights just before Canada Day. We found it to be quite roomy and clean. This suite has a balcony, and we enjoyed sitting outside to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. We had a very comfortable stay all in all.
While the weather forecast in the Halifax area was for rain showers, as usual, the weather in the Annapolis Valley was much better. The Stella Rose is a nice walking distance to downtown Wolfville for restaurants & pubs, so we were able to do this quite easily.
The B&B is also close to the Millenium Trail for hiking/cycling. From the trail, one can gain which access to three nearby wineries, Grand Pre National Historic Park, and nearby communities.
In the mornings, we were treated to terrific breakfasts by prepared by Neil and served by Robyn. They were great hosts.
We highly recommend a stay at the Stella Rose. It is a smaller establishment, and they are very conscious of their requirements vis-a-vis COVID-19. We felt very safe, as if we were in our own home.
