This was our 3rd visit to the Queen Anne and we think it’s the perfect Inn.The rooms are spacious and immaculate. As is often the case in older inns the bathrooms are rather small but have everything you might need. The hot, full breakfast in beautiful dining room is a huge bonus. The Inn Keepers are personable and helpful. With all the changes to travel and dining out during 2020 we felt the Queen Anne was ensuring patron safety and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet night out. PS.There are very nice options for dinner nearby.

My husband and I stayed at the wonderful Queen Ann Inn while they were running their "staycation - romantic package for two" which was a one night stay, breakfast included and dinner at Founders House. This was the perfect little getting away during Covid. The owner of the Inn was super friendly, the room was lovely, we had the room with the original bathroom to the house so huge. The breakfast that was included was fabulous. As was the dinner at Founders House. My only complaint would be that we were offered a ride to and from the Inn to the restaurant. It was too far to walk, not to mention it was dark and raining (no sidewalks out that way) and we were doing a wine pairing so driving was out of the question. The ride was appreciated but I was a bit surprised when our bill came that it had a $20 charge for that. I don't have an issue paying it, as I realize he went out of his way to make that happen, I just would have appreciated a head's up. Really it's a small mention but I like my reviews to be completely honest. Again overall an excellent experience!

From the moment you turn into the drive and see this very impressive mansion you are wowed. As you pass the rocking chairs on the front porch you make a mental note to return with a glass of wine later. Then you open the massive front doors to be wowed by all the original woodwork and gorgeous staircase. A beautiful smile greets you and makes you instantly feel at home. As excited as you are to see your room you also don't want this interaction with the innkeeper to end. Your room does not disappoint. It is just as grand and luxurious with every detail thought out. A short walk into the town of Annapolis Royal to explore and get something to eat only to return to your beautiful bed of nice linens and a perfect mattress. Breakfast was well done, the blueberry scones and jam were the best I have tasted in a long time. Thank you Kate and Laszlo for a perfect stay.

Very pleasant place to stay. The breakfasts were of a very high standard , very tasty and well presented. The room we had was on the top floor which necessitates climbing lots of stairs so avoid these rooms if you have heavy suitcases or struggle climbing stairs. The room was very clean and spacious with a comfortable bed.
If I had to be negative it would be the lack of drink making facilities in the room. It was a good place to stay and the walk into Annapolis Royal was short and easy. Would definitely recommend it.

We decided to come to Annapolis Royal for our anniversary. We booked suite #7 at the Queen Anne Inn and we had an unforgettable experience. The host was very friendly and welcoming. He was also very knowledgeable about the history of the Inn and Annapolis Royal itself. We were impressed with the attention to detail. He gave us recommendations for places to eat, he made dinner reservations for us at a local restaurant and he served us an incredible 3 course breakfast in the morning with fresh made biscuits, homemade jam, yogurt parfait and a choice of avocado toast or French toast with locally made maple syrup. He even provided us information about our French Acadian roots. We will definitely return to the Queen Anne Inn. We highly recommend it.

This is a lovely Victorian Inn, just across from the Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens and a short walk to the quaint village. I had probably the smallest room in the Inn but it was so well appointed, so cozy and the bed was so comfortable that to my surprise I ended up having no quarrel with the size.

The hosts were extremely accommodating, I had a couple of very minor issues which they resolved immediately, even though I assured them there was no rush.

The breakfast was outstanding, lots of fresh fruit, the most delicious scones, and crepes. And the grounds are also beautiful. Wish we had more time, would have been enjoyable to sit and read in their backyard.

Would have welcomed the ability to make coffee or tea in the room or to have it available in one of the common areas especially in the morning before breakfast is served.

Would definitely recommend. The Inn does live up to all of the positive reviews.

When you open the door and step into the Queen Anne it is like stepping back in time to a simpler more genteel era. The public rooms as well as our room are artfully decorated with beautiful period furniture, rugs and artwork that work together to create an aura of calm and well being. Modern amenities blend in discretely. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and accommodating to a dietary restriction. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if we return to the area, this will be our first choice for accommodations.

We stayed one night at the Queen Anne Inn after a longer than anticipated drive from the ferry terminal in Yarmouth. We arrived after 9:00 PM (guests are asked to check in prior to 9:00), and it would have been helpful for the sign out front to have been lit, since there were guests who were yet to arrive. The front entrance was under reconstruction at the time of our stay. We stayed in room 6, which is on the third floor. Because this is an old Victorian building with very high ceilings, reaching the third floor really involves four flights of stairs with landings. Carrying up our bags and belongings was a chore!

Our room was a bit cramped, with an unusual layout that no doubt is based upon adding a bathroom where one had not originally existed. One had to pass through the bathroom in order to reach the closet. Most of the room furnishings were antique; however, the room carpeting was simply old and due for replacement. The bathroom lighting was extremely dim, rendering it impossible to shave or apply cosmetics.

The breakfast was fine, but be aware that Annapolis Royal rolls up the sidewalks pretty early. If you are looking for dinner after 8:00 PM, the only option appears to be snack food from the convenience store down the road which remains open until 10:00 PM.

Pleasant and friendly owners - Kate who received us upon check-in and Laszlo who served us a very tasty, freshly-prepared breakfast of which choices were offered. Cranberry scones with strawberry jam and a delicious smoothie preceded the main breakfast selections. Very comfortable, clean room on the third floor. Good value for money.

Really enjoyed our stay, the room was lovely & the king bed was cosy & comfy. The 3 course breakfast was delicious! Our host, Laslo, offers a cab service to local eateries & Kate’s freshly baked scones are yummy. Would definitely stay here again.
