They say you get what you pay for, but sometimes, not really. Recently painted, apparently by a first-timer. Missing faceplates mean doesn't meet electrical code. Bathroom door shuts with difficulty, opens with greater difficulty. Was clean though. Non-smoking rooms, but they put ash-tray flower pots outside the door and room stinks of smoke, anyway.

I stay here almost every month when I'm travelling through on business. The room is basic -- I always bring my own hair dryer -- but it is clean. The best thing is the location. You're between a Tim Hortons and a MacDonalds, and across the street from a Subway and an A&W. A short walk into downtown Antigonish and...

Homeward Inns was in a great spot as we had to get to Halifax for our flight. A typical motel in town with quick access to the highway and basic facilties. Lots of choice for Dinner as the restaurants are across the road or up the street 2 minute walk. There is also a maccas which we handy for brekky.

Booked this hotel for 2 travelling staffers. Options in the area are limited, but after the report I received from our staffers, a tent on a hill would have been better. When the gentlemen checked in, they noted the wear and tear on the place. But this is not a highly populated area, so maybe we have gotten too use...

We stayed here 10 years ago for the Nascar weekend in a different section and thought enough of it to return. This time our room was down a depressing hallway with a group of people smoking at the entrance. Room was barely adequate but everything worked and we had a decent sleep. Shortage of lamps for reading and outlets for...

We were late in booking accommodations for a weekend wedding but fortunately Homeward Inns had space. Very basic accommodation, but they are trying to do their best. The rooms were clean, nestled between Tim Hortons and McDonalds, adjacent to the highway so along with the old AC, a little noisy. The AC drowned most of that out...

Stopped here just passing through. The hotel is a good budget hotel with clean rooms. They are well worn and in need of some tlc, but were clean. Located right in the middle of a McDonald, Tim's and A&W so lots of choice for a quick breakfast before you leave in the morning. There appeared to be no coffee pot...

The cheapest stopover during our stay in the Maritimes. Not knowing what to expect, we were surprised to find a decent sized living room, good sized bedroom and clean / adequate bathroom. We were only in the room a little over 10 hours as we were on a tight schedule. The room was excellent value. The check in staff faultless...

We arrived around supper time and were greeted in the parking lot by Pearl, she informed us that the only room left was a suite, the price was o.k. and we took it. Beside the hotel is a Tim Hortens across the street. A&W, Subway, short walk to a Needs. I must admit it was loud early morning, with the...
